I tried linking my PSN to steam today to play on a laptop that I just bought. The end result was both PSN and steam showing that I'm am just starting the game at the very beginning with the create your character screen. I have almost 2000 hrs into into Destiny 2 and I do not want to start over. When I check my time on wasted on destiny it shows my 1800 hrs in game but when I go to my bungie profile everything is gone. I deleted the game off from PSN and downloading it again now to see if that does anything. I also deactivated my steam link to PSN thinking something was wrong and why I was getting the create character screen on steam but when I log into destiny on PSN I'm getting the same thing.
What can be done to fix this? No way can I start over and I cant access the content I have paid for

1 ReplyHi there. You appear to have set up Cross Save backwards by choosing Steam as the active account in your set up instead of PlayStation. Your characters have not been erased—you just made them dormant and inaccessible. If you wish to request that Bungie switch your active account to PlayStation, head over to the following article and fill out the contact form at the bottom. Do not disable Cross Save in the meantime! https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049498031-Contact-Form-Cross-Save-Issues Please note that Bungie goes through these reports in order that they receive them, and only during normal business hours Pacific Time.
