Steam/PC - Text chat won’t auto hide (setting keeps changing)
Ever since this season started I noticed my text chat stays on my screen. I always check my settings and it saw it keeps switching my auto-hide setting back to off instead of on.
Not sure what to do to prevent this, sure would be nice to not have to keep changing the setting.
Update: Looks like pressing “L” on pc hides the text chat and it comes back by pressing “enter”. I still hope the auto hide works at some point.

Yes! This is very annoying. I have to change the setting every time I log back in. "Auto Hide" should be the default, not "On". Or at least save my settings from before. I saw somewhere online about using the "L" key to toggle hiding the chat, but that's a permanent hide, not an Auto Hide. I also can't find where the "L" key is bound anywhere in my settings, so I am only guessing that it is supposed to hide the text chat. Really the only thing here is to save the settings through log out/in, like all the other controls.
