that doesn't work for me- or anyone, because there are multiple different packages. I downloaded the "Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019" and it didn't install the necessary files.
If you're claiming that downloading the latest and greatest Visual studio (2019) and it solved the problem, please provide the EXACT package of which you used; this is assuming you had the same bug that was 'missing file' that prohibited Destiny 2 from launching.
