If it works for you, great, but I tried that last month on my old Windows 7 laptop and it just failed with an unhelpful error message, even after I reimaged the laptop to its original factory defaults. Sure, I've also got my gaming-desktop, but now it's the only computer I can use to do my job and pay rent-money, so risky reinstalls are not on the table.
