What was the point of adding ritual with this neutered legendary perk? Vorpal and lasting impressing are better picks.
On top of that, it doesn’t stack with argent ordinance?!?!
This is just vorpal with extra steps and limitations.

Explosive light makes it deal the same amount of damage as Blade Barrage and the weapon has better tracking than BB too. I used it in a Master LS and it did fine. I won’t argue with a buff, but I don’t think it’s needed.

Just in case anyone doesn’t know, EP gives a 15.2% damage buff for every orb of light you pick up stacking up to 5. Every rocket you fire consumes 1 stack of EP, and unlike Vorpal, this buff applies to minors and elites as well as bosses and champions. Vorpal gives a 15% passive damage buff to bosses (this includes Champions). Yes, I know the .2% extra damage is practically useless, but I still wanted to bring it up 👍

Its because its a returning perk. Obviously that doesn't excuse neutering it but honestly if most of these weapons are just going to be replacements of older ritual weapons, why bother? Why not just give them back and leave Mountaintop and Recluse where they are?

I will never use ascendancy because I have a Hearn with overflow + lasting impression.

Explosive light on a Rocket launcher should consume ALL stacks of explosive light at once for more damage the more stacks you have

At least Ascendancy has impulse and chain for pvp tho, so it's not a total waste of vault space.

3 RepliesExplosive light also increase blast radius. Just fyi. It's not only damage. I see it as a great ad clear weapon with major/powerful enemy kill potential (when grouped).

Yeah it's damage buff should be 18% to be better than vorpal but not as good as lasting impression

4 RepliesI think explosive light should be reworked as something entirely different. Basically, it should be pinnacle weapon (or whatever they call them now) exclusive only and explosive light in particular should just function as a fusion between vorpal weapon and chain reaction except instead of the explosion activating on kills it activates on impact. So basically, explosive light should be vorpal weapon with double explosions and no need to collect orbs of power. I think that would be cool.

I was missing impact casing, lasting impression isnt good for champions and i like the intrinsic tracking that precisions have. My royal entry is still superior though (impact casing, field prep, clown cartridge, tracking).
