Since destiny 1 I have always wanted this but now that it is here, I am thrilled to have it. I love not having to run around trying to find primary bricks. It has changed my game playing a lot and I really appreciate it.

23 RepliesThis is so overrated. 99% of u already never ran out of primary ammo before the change. The only real difference is that fighting lion was destroyed/nerfed to the ground & special/heavy ammo refill was removed. Keep celebrating the losses.
-
Agreed. Its made dealing with the increased density of mobs in PVE more reasonable....and made content like solo end-game Lost Sectors **less** tilting.
-
I like it because I can use my cold front without being afraid to run out of ammo in a minute.
-
Yhh it actually works really well tbh i still feel like bungie is gonna nerf it back but i think its a positive change the game feels better for it considering how much u shoot stuff its a relief to have atleast one type of gun that doesnt run out of ammo and primarys just made the most sense for the change
-
I love it, now if they could just increase special reserves a bit.
-
It's definitely rebalanced things. It's a gargantuan buff for the Riskrunner, which was always running dry. Other primaries will barely notice the change. Since my main primaries are Riskrunner and Sweet Business, the former is hugely buffed and the latter I'm not sure about. There's fewer ammo boxes to run over and insta-reload (used in conjunction with Actium, you can fire 700 shots without stopping with just one ammo box), but as long as you use Actium and space your fire, you've got an infinite bullet hose now.

Yes, yes it is awesome

9 RepliesStill say that’s going to open a different door that will be nothing but arguments an a issue later down the road. It’s a good idea. It just opens up a different can of worms.

Now I want unlimited heavy ammos
-
So now we have abondoned all illusions of realism ,I mean an alien dropping ammo that works for a human weapon is pretty unrealistic, but now we are getting into Arcade Shooter territory PS..I want unlimited heavy in Mayhem

5 RepliesHaving infinite primary ammo is something I've wanted since D1 so having it now is pretty sweet. I admit that running out of ammo wasn't a big problem for me usually, but I would run low on it during some activities. Not having to worry about that is really nice in my opinion.
-
This is literally the best thing Bungie has done in 4 full seasons; maybe longer.
-
12 RepliesWait till a mainstream content creator complains that infinite ammo makes the gameplay too easy and they have nothing to show off as a challenge to their viewers... just saying
-
Aww yis.

3 RepliesLove being able to actually use Tarrabah and devils ruin in PvE without constantly having to search for ammo

ammo of primary Infinite it is since now D1 is awesome

1 Reply[quote]Since destiny 1 I have always wanted this but now that it is here, I am thrilled to have it. I love not having to run around trying to find primary bricks. They really don't want us using the anarchy anymore. Hell they even nerfed how much anarchy ammo we can carry!
-
I prefer having limited ammo. It ads to the urgency of picking up ammo and the mentality of making shots count. The only problem we had with ammo before were mainly rapid fire weapons as those weapons tend to burn the most. SMGs especially were always dry.
-
Its really, really cool getting to use some loadouts where the main weakness was ammo economy. Lasering people with Devils Ruin is fun as hell.
-
2 RepliesI feel like it does take away from the core game play mechanics, just a little. I mean it is still a fps and infinite ammo means you can now just spam shots without consequence in pvp and in pve means you can use cheese spots without worry of running out of ammo. That being said now that primaries have infinite ammo, they might as well give trace rifles infinite ammo. This way they are more of an option since they have a similar ttk/damage out put to primaries.

17 RepliesEdited by ABackSeatDriver: 9/2/2021 1:36:51 AMMy only gripe about it is that it opens up the ability to camp a boss. Just sit in some out of the way spot from the boss with a shot at it and get cozy. Couldn't do that before, had to move around to keep ammo up. But other than that I'm loving the Sweet Business + War Rig pew pew pew

1 Replyye but can it make brioche

1 ReplyI love this change. A few seasons ago I ran out of ammo almost every lost sector or nf. Subsistence and drop mag together with my ocd reloading really is a terrible combination.
-
34 RepliesYou know the REAL reason why they did this don't you? Because now we can't run out of ammo and get a refill.
