Fixing bugs isn't always quick and easy no matter how much we paid for the game, nor how much we complain or threaten. They say they're working on it, give them time.
We need to be patient and understanding. We all want to be back on the battlefield, but it's out of our control for now.

Finally someone reasonable

I mean I was angry and frustrated to begin with but as I came to understand the issue I can see it may not be as easy as I'd like it to be. I expected them to just dump all of us in the gutter so I'm pleased that we got some recognition.
-
If you are playing for free there is no problem but if you have already paid 140€ it hurts to see, ignore you to repair soon what does not allow you to open the game now
-
They're hardly ignoring us, do any of the other game issues have a thread dedicated to it?
-
I'm sorry, but patient and understanding was off the table the moment they released the game with no testing if it will even run this time they screwed up hard and it's important they hear it, so that next time there will be at least one employee who takes the 15 minutes it takes to restart the testbench, boot it up in windows 7 to try to launch the game and then restart again to resume their work in w/e OS they normally use this isn't "be patient they are working on it" this is "you better fix this fast and even then you're still not off the hook"
-
thats true but if friends/fireteam ask u every day if ur are able to join now its really annoing
-
I didn't have any destiny friends so I Dunno how hard that is, but they should understand that you can't do much more than wait or try to upgrade.
-
I've been playing on an early model PS4 via the free issue of Forsaken they gave out via PSN years ago. It is just not the same. No PvP with friends, I load slower than everyone else zoning in raids, changing gear, etc. It just is not the same game as it is on PC. And friends can tell.

Edited by Feltharion: 8/31/2021 6:37:20 PMAgreed. People forget how many bugs they have to fix at once whenever a New Season or Expasion comes out...asides the pain it is for you to actually find out what's wrong and how to fix it. Of course I hope it gets fixed asap, but this kind of thing simply takes time. I'm glad they're working on it, it matter a lot already considering we're in an outdated OS. The fact that they assured a fix for us is beyond enough. Take your time Bungo, and take care.
-
Yea they didn't immediately cut their losses and dump the lot of us, so that's a plus. Hopefully that means they will come up with something. There is a lot of jumping to conclusions and assumptions going around.
-
I hope they fix the new cutscenes too, would be a bonus as well.
-
Agreed :)
-
Depends on the bug. Something this obvious should never have made it to release. And by several accounts, the cutscenes FPS bug is something many users claim they could fix for Bungie if granted access to the code or one of their programmers.

Not everyone on the internet is an expert, but the experts are on the internet.
