So I haven't been able to play destiny in a year or so due to financial issues, and I absolutely love these two weapons from the first game - Hawkmoon in particular -
Will these guns ever be accessible without the deluxe edition from here on out?
I know Hawkmoon was accessible during season of the hunt, but obviously I missed that, and purchasing the deluxe upgrade (it's £16 right now and I have the DLC) just isn't a viable price point (All I'd gain that I care about is 2 guns, and some essentially defunct side quests and activities).
Season of the hunt looks like it expires at the end of season 15 - will these guns become publicly available then?

2 RepliesEdited by Olórin: 8/31/2021 9:59:24 PMI'm not sure why but I got No Time to Explain and I didn't pay for the Deluxe edition, I got Beyond Light with Xbox Gamepass Ultimate, though but I didn't get NTTE until a season or so passed. I think when Witch Queen drops you'll be able to get the exotics from previous seasons/'Expansion' at the Kiosk - Monument of Lost Lights. Wouldn't bother paying Deluxe now since Witch Queen isn't too far away, for now you just need a little...Patience... and Time.

I think they’ll be in the kiosk when Witch Queen begins.

2 RepliesHawkmoon should be. All season related weapons are typically added directly to the exotic kiosk. But since it is a quest weapon, after it's year of being out they will probably make the quest free.
-
Only If you have the old season-pass, beside that you can kiss those exotics goodbye!
-
If you own the Beyond Light expansion, then No Time to Explain will be available to you as a quest once you have completed the main story campaign. (All that the deluxe edition did was give players early access to the exotic) As for Hawkmoon - you'll need to wait for Bungie to add it to the Monument to Lost Light kiosk at a later date - presumably when Witch Queen releases, but there is no guarantees

Wait till we can't get Gjallahorn without paying for the 30th Anniversary Pack.

6 RepliesI have no time to explain and I never bought it. They should both be available

I do understand about NTTE since it's an expansion-promoted weapon, as for Hawkmoon, it's more like it's from a season, in which I have no comment.
-
I'm right there with you. I think it's crappy that these weapons are behind pay walls. Even though I did pay for the content, JUST to get Hawkmoon. Whatever happened to earning rewards? If Bungie wants us to pay for every little thing, then just setup a subscription plan and be done with it.

These exotics may become available through other sources in Year 5 or later, but Bungie has made no announcement.
