Hi,
Just the title. If I set my PS4 to Appear Offline, I appear offline for every other playstation player, but it can be seen as online and playing (and can be joined in fireteam) from any other platform (not fully verfied, only verified from PC). This character, when playing in PS4, also has "Crossplay disabled" inside game settings.
I can put my fireteam as private, but sometimes I just want to farm quietly off the grid, and this thing is rendering useless one important privacy setting on Playstation platform. I'll ask Sony help forums as well, maybe is platform-related.
Any fix/workaround for this?

It's also on xbox. Would really appreciate if this could be fixed. I'm not the most social person, and if I wanna play with my clanmates or friends I show online, but if I set my status to offline I don't want to interact with anyone and it honestly stresses me out if people then join anyway. There's a reason I set my status to offline, and I wanna rely on appearing offline then. Either I'm sorting my vault, working on armour stats and looks, or just wanna have some time alone in the game. I don't want people to join me then, cause it screws up whatever I had planned for that time - yes, could set fireteam to invite only, but they still see you then and message or send invites or are offended for me ignoring them. Just respect online/offline settings in crossplay please, some people just need their alone time without worrying about appearing rude.

1 ReplyI agree, I am having the exact same issue where my status is offline on ps5 and to my playstation friends I am, but to my friends on other platforms they see me online. I too would like to grind solo in private sometimes without my friends thinking i'm ignoring them or take it personally that I don't want to play with them right now.
