Astral Alignment is not worth doing.
So you need 9 Astral Alignment runs to get a Pinnacle?
Their are NightFalls that take less time than 2 runs of Astral Alignment for the same thing.
It should be like 3 or 4 for a Pinnacle, tops.

Yeah I'm not about to run 9 on each character. Not even one for that matter.

I did them when it came out and I kept running out of the material needed to open those chests, so I had to run a bunch of Crucible to get those. When I saw that there was no pinnacle reward, I was so beyond confused.

My main issue with the activity is that there is very little incentive to play it at all. You can get all of the seasonal loot through Umbral Engrams and Parallax Trajectory is very easy to obtain.

Worst seasonal activity since the Rasputin expansion. I struggled running 3 for the bounty.

2 RepliesYa not sure what they were thinking here. I can’t be bothered to do 2 let alone 9. There’s plenty of pinnacles available. This season is 6 months long! I’m not gonna lose sleep over not getting a pinnacle for the week.

4 RepliesAs with all seasonal content, it's mildly entertaining for the first run, then gets stale very quickly. No way I'm running this for pinnacles.

That's not at all the reason it's not worth doing. It's not worth doing because the chest at the end gives the same rewards as a focused engram that costs no parralax trajectory. The seasonal event either needs to be the best place to farm the currency, or the best place to turn in the seasonal currency. It is currently neither, "pinnacle gear" be damned.

25 RepliesThey reverted back to season of the battlegrounds. > 9 runs for non-pinnacle rewards. > Progress on your seasonal ranking (the compass upgrades) can only be gotten by doing the seasonal challenges. And the first one was broken! It's always two steps backwards and one forwards with this company. In that order, too.

The season has just started and already lots of players are already bored with it.

Name ONE thing in all seriousness that is worth doing in Destiny 2 Cause it's not in any way the same fun that D1 and early D2 was from the start. To much spliced and scattered content, no red line to follow. Missions are broken. If you are unlucky you may start in the wrong end of a campaign and miss out on much of the story. Thankfully there are Youtube so people can see other people play and skip ahead themselves. Out of all the Junk i have amassed so far nothing has in all honesty been worth it. So much time just going wasted!

12 RepliesAstral alignment blows. Like it was created by their interns. All the seasonal events blow besides menagerie. Menagerie was one of the best things that happened to destiny. But they had help from other studios. Bungie alone is too cheap or doesn't have the power to create meaningful seasonal events. No way in hell any of these have the longevity to grind. They make like these tiny little changes and expect our excitement level to be refreshed. Just because the boss is orange now instead of purple doesn't mean -blam!- if you get what I mean.

You spawn in the blind well to kill ads then teleport to the area to kill more ads then you are re-teleported to that same area to kill ads, dunk balls, and kill bosses THEN you are teleported to the blind well to kill more ads and a boss with mechanics… A lot of unnecessary teleporting IMO.

It's not a pinacle. Even after 9 it is only a Tier 3 Powerfull - Absolutley Useless for anyone grinding pinacle power.

My highest gear is already 1327 from other pinnacle activities. I say Im taking it casual for the most part as I just LFG for endgame content. Plenty of no mic LFG groups out there
