Part 1: [b]Initializing the loop[/b] So my last attempt at writing this was...I was really...spaced out. I am trying to explain a loop we are taking part of (our predetermined path), that I think started before CoO, but I can only see from CoO, I can't see the thread before that...it may not even exist...I think it deals with Oryx. This is my promise, I will only say this once...time is weird when vex are involved. Ok let's kick this off, and set this up. Osiris throws Sagira out of the infinite forest, she get's shot on the way out, and basically falls "asleep". We get tasked with awakening her, go to the EDZ, where the Osiris fan boys set up a comm device of sorts that was "heavily modified" with vex tech. This is heavily modified Vex tech. I've never seen anything like it before. Let me try something… Wait… Something's happening. What is… Sagira: …going on?! Whoa! New shell. Who…? Panoptes always ends up in the same coordinates. It's over, this is how we beat the Vex! Projection: I've detected a change. A new future, I will inform Osiris. THE PROJECTION DISAPPEARS Sagira: Wait, a defensive subroutine? New reality branches forming… No. No! PANOPTES APPEARS, AND BEGINS TO PULL SAGIRA OUT OF THE SHELL. Sagira: Ahhhhhh! It's got me!!![/spoiler] Real quick too, I still think us invading a consciousness is bad, like what we did last season. [spoiler]GUARDIAN AND GHOST FIND THEMSELVES OUTSIDE THE GATE TO THE INFINITE FOREST. Ghost: Where are we? Mercury? How did we get back here? Last thing I remember, we were in the EDZ, we found that device and then— WHAM. Oh I feel so strange, like someone's rearranged all the furniture in the house, except the house is my brain. GUARDIAN TRIES TO FORCE THEIR WAY BACK INTO THE FOREST. Ghost: All right, look, I'd never thought I'd have to ask this but—who else has been inside my head? Accessing memory core… Huh. You've been busy. Correction: you've been busy without me. I don't know how to feel about that.[/spoiler] I know, most don't care, it's a game...I just know it would suck to have happen, to have an invading obtrusive thought that's not your own. It starts as a whisper only to literally yell in your head in dreadful fight or flight moments. Back on topic at hand, and end of Part 1. After she get's sucked back into the Vex network, we go in, and help Osiris get her back, still not explained how...it just happened(I think it will get explained as we get closer to finding Osiris, and Savvy plays her part...). I think Panoptes role was more than what we see in the end, a barrier for Osiris to overcome. That initialized the loop, there is a constant moment where: Sagira is put into a shell, and pulled from the shell, all within the vex network...while we moved forward (I don't think we are actually outside the loop yet), there is always that moment, that leads to timelines expanding, something even Elsie has had to endure...time in a loop.
