Forcing players to play gambit and crucible needs to stop!
I'm starting to get really sick of Bungie forcing me to play activities I don't want any part of, if someone doesn't want to play crucible or gambit you shouldn't force them to in order to cleat a nonrelated quest, there should be options for those steps of quests, instead of it being just gambit or crucible add options like so many kills in the crucible or get twice the amount of kills in the strick playlist or more, stop forcing me to play gambit and crucible!!!

Nah. I'm a PVE main and am average at best at PvP. Even i prefer the PvP steps for vcertain quests because they are easier and quicker.

I liked Gambit till the other day when I had a few games. The other team melted their primeval in less than a minute. Never again.

Git gud scrub… (Gambit is basically PVE, and I’m terrible at PVP but getting in there will help your PVE game!)

2 RepliesHad to break it to you, but PvP is one of the Core Components of Destiny. I was forced to play Nightfalls (Palindrome and MindBenders), Reckoning/Gambit (Spare Rations), Menagerie (Beloved and Austringer), and Raids (Praedyth’s Revenge and Found Verdict) for guns that are PRIMARILY PVP WEAPONS!!!!!!! You will be fine!

No one is forcing me to play Gambit. I just don’t. Those seasonal challenges never get done, got like 3 ornaments to do in there currently. I might eventually tag along with clan mates who live in Gambit at the end of the season to see how much I can get done in 3-5 matches. Or not. Doesn’t bother me either way.

Totally agree. Having players in the same activity with vastly different goals isn't fun for anyone. It's not fun for the person who's farming "player kill shots in the left ankle after being damaged by a rocket launcher", because they're in an activity they're not interested in. And it's not fun for the rest of the players, when that person finally gets their ankle kills and just leaves in the middle of the match.

I have a solution for you. I too hated being told how to play and Bungie not respecting my time so I found other games to play. I often wonder why so many people complain about the grind, broken matchmaking, broken RNG, time gating content, etc…. But they continue to play. Bungie has always made players do Raid, crucible, gambit. This has and never will change. Maybe this isn’t the game for you.

I hate crucible and gambit. If they was wiped from the game then great but the reality is it's not going to happen. So do you know what I do if a quest requires gambit or crucible? I either just push through and get it done or I just don't bother. It's that simple.

Just go in crucible/gambit and do the quest/bounty or whatever you need to do then leave. That’s what I do I’m strictly a PvE player and only play PvP when I absolutely have to.

I guess your complaining about the new light crucible quest? Or is it the catalyst quests, which should only be given to players who dedicate the time to get them? Oh, I know, its the seasonal gambit shader! Gow dare bungie lock shaders behind gambit! I AM DONE WITH THIS GAME!!! AGGGGHHHHHH!
