How has shatter dice glacial grenade combo not been nerfed?
Its hard to believe that the devs have nerfed so much overpowered things at once yet haven’t touched probably the most cheesiest thing in the crucible? I see it non stop, time and time again hunter apeing with a shotty or camping the angle, jumps as high as possible and glacier shatterdive. Its just the easiest, cheesiest kill possible, with perks that buff grenade regen and a 0 cost basically spammable dive ability, it happens far more frequently than any other combo. Its not even like an exotic needs to be slotted to do it or improve it like titan requires dune marchers. Bakris to teleport behind people whilst shotty apeing and this combo stasis hunters just have too many opportunities for cheesy almost free kills.

Are you new to destiny? It’s for hunters so it’s ok to be OP. Hunters, as Bungies favoured children, are and will always remain as the most overpowered crutch class in pvp. If they gave shatter dive a proc requirement like they have with cryo slide so u have to sprint for 1.5 seconds first and stopping sprinting removes it then it would be fine. As i said though this won’t happen as Bungie aren’t only content with hunters being OP in pvp it’s their entire goal.

Funny enough it has been nerfed and yet it's still one of the best, if not the best super shutdown/ multi kill ability in the game. Period. Then again after it was nerfed, Bungie gave them an Aspect that makes the glacier wall grenade form up more closely which made it even better at what it does now for the shatter combo. Go figure 🤷

It's been nerfed twice since stasis release. And you do have to spec into it in order to have any leeway with it's range what so ever.

10 RepliesIf you think it's bad now? You should've seen it back in it's release. If you get shitterdived now it's generally awful timing. You won't see it pop out if you don't get caught with your pants down. I saw you mentioned Titans..........as a Titan Main the mention of dunes is kinda funny. Shatterdive is a localised kill......... Dunes although an exotic ability......you could punch a guy on a nessus map and kill 6 people in the dreaming city.

1 ReplyYou could like, avoid it? I main stasis hunter and the only people I manage to properly shatterdive are new lights and kids with no game sense. Legit all you have to do to avoid a shatterdive is run tf away.

1 ReplySo...Normally I'm all for hating Hunters but hate them correctly. It was nerfed. Shatterdive was nerfed, shatter damage was nerfed, both of those together equal a shatterdive glaciernade nerf. The problem is that neither one was nerfed ENOUGH.
