Prismatic Recaster not working on my hunter
Prismatic recaster is only not avaliable on my hunter, did most-all quest possible and it is unlocked both on my titan and warlock. Im lost and do not know any fixes to it as well as if anyone else is dealing with this.

You have to do the astral alignment once and then you'll have access to it

Hi all. New player here and was having the same issue as discussed but found a solution on reddit that worked for me. I purchased the Destiny 2 Deluxe edition and also the Beyond Light Deluxe edition for transparency so if you have that content you should be good. Make sure you complete the ‘Operation Cocoon’ mission on the Dreaming City, (this unfortunately will contain some spoilers for story based content if you are trying to follow chronologically through the timeline like I was). When you return to the H.E.L.M after this you should be able to trigger the Prismatic recaster. Best of luck.

What I did to fix this glitch was to first close app then reboot the game. Went back to the helm and listened to the message caital and lakamsi ( this is because I was stuck on both previous season quest and couldn't focus anything) left then I went to the umbrella decoder not the recaster and turned in an umbrel engram and the quest progressed and then I was able to see all the umbrel focusing options for the 3 seasons. I was on PS4 and I hope this helps and you can find the message thing for caital next to the postbox before you go down the stairs into the fallen looking room. Tl:Dr Close app, go to helm, listen to messages the game gives to progress the plot, turn in umbrel at the decoder not the recaster.

1 ReplyI’m currently having the same issue, on step 5 of 7 Legacy Path of the Splicer. I’ve even gone as far as deleting the character and starting over but to no avail… it simply does not show the quest when opening the umbral decoder. Also the war table shows no bounty’s and the prismatic caster shows no active seasons so I cannot decode engrams with it… Hopefully this is fixed as I feel it’s a big part of the game I and others are missing out on.

1 Replyi have the same problem on my titan only my hunter and warlock works fine i can use it but nothing is in there for exmpl the current and past seasons im stuck in the quest Decrypting the darknes i turned it in and it bugged out and no recaster now any idea to fix it

11 RepliesWe are seeing many reports of issues with the Decoder where it is unlocked on one or two characters, but for another character it is locked with no apparent means to unlock it since Decrypting the Darkness appears unobtainable. We've taken a report from one player that provided extensive screenshots and have submitted it to Destiny Player Support for developer investigation. At this point I don't have any suggestions to try and fix it because it is looking more and more like it might possibly be a glitch.

4 RepliesEdited by suttungur: 8/27/2021 12:58:54 AMYou don't seem to have an umbral engram (at least not shown in the video). Once you have an engram, you should be able to decrypt it using the umbral decoder. And once you have decrypted the first engram, Recaster should be unlocked.

Same thing is happening to me i havent played in a LONG time and just recently got on and when i open the prismatic recaster in the helm it just gives me no options... has to be bugged ive decryped about 10 umbrals already so dont think its that..

same here! my 3rd character cannot complete that mission and gain access to the prismatic recaster.
