Currently with the new rework/buff promethium spur exotic warlock boots seem to rarely work as intended, from what I have tested sometimes after placing a rift and getting a boatload of solar weapon kills you might get your rift just in time to get another solar kill to proc your new rift at the enemies death location, this however rarely works and you often times just sit and keep getting solar kills waiting to see if it ever procs, I have tested it with well of radiance and it has worked once and out of all the times in my rift it has worked thrice, one other time I was standing in an allies healing rift and I got a kill and it procd making the expected healing/empowering rift, This seems to be bugged and the way the exotic perk is worded it sounds like getting a kill while your rift is charged will set it at an enemy ( much like the daybreak part of the perk which you think would make sense) but this however to my knowledge does not and has not ever worked. I would suggest making this exotic this way, because alternatively the amount of focus and effort just to make a double rift is insane and not worth the time. The rift regeneration works just fine though, it is barely just enough energy to make it work if you have enough enemies around you ( I needed to go to a tier IV altar of sorrow or higher to test this ). Also if you are asking, No, kills with the well of radiance sword do not proc the rifts ( although they technically should because it is the same sword you use in dawnblade) Bungie Please take a look at the toe boots, I would love for these guys to be useful :) -Signed, Judobaggins
