CoC obviously states that running a game in Virtual Machine can be regarded as a breach of CoC or license agreement.
Was wondering if all VM technologies are all grouped together as the source of evil or If things like KVM are tolerated but monitored more closely for suspicous activity.
Especially now with BattlEye and their stance on VM's I was wondering what is the clear answer to this.
E.g. will you just get disconnected when trying to play the game in VM or is it zero tolerance perma ban.

2 RepliesHi there! All VMs, regardless of implementation, are a bannable offense. Because VMs have the ability to transparently modify memory without the knowledge of the client OS, we cannot verify the chain of trust. This means that a malicious actor could surreptitiously do pretty much anything they want to the client's memory, behavior, etc. As such, Destiny 2 does not allow VMs under any circumstances. If we detect your account playing from within a VM you will receive a full account ban.
