Series X freezing after Crucible matches.
Twice in a row. If I am examining the loot that just dropped before going back to orbit, the game hard locks. Have to close and restart.

Yes I am having same issue. Have tried everything. If you don't go into menus etc and just leave it, it seem to be ok. Very frustrating Bungie. Only started after the Iron Banner reset.

same here when i go to orbit after a crucible match it hard freezes I'm on a series x too

It does it to me after almost every Gambit, iron banner, and crucible match.

Now frustratingly I've had to take this more seriously, it has just happened mid game - I have logged off in disgust and posted on here to find a solution? Iron banner is on and I was enjoying it

I reinstalled Destiny 2. Still a problem. Not good.

Same issue here. It happened a couple times over the last week or so but now it's happening after every Iron Banner match. Seems to happen when I go to the end of match screen whether I try to return to orbit from that or let it re-match.

1 ReplySame here. Series X. End of nightfalls, Gambit, crucible, etc. Anytime there is an "after match menu" hard freeze. Gotta close the game and sometimes restart the console just to play. SUPER frustrating with Iron Banner going on this week. Note: I've never seen this happen before. Only since season 15 started.

I played 4-5 Survival matches with a fireteam last night after the update; I did not run into any problems there. My first game of Momentum Control today, when I was playing solo, did "freeze" when I tried to back out of the match. The circle fills on up, but then nothing happens - the cursor will not move, I cannot access any menu, etc. There are a couple of posts on one of the Destiny subreddits suggesting that if you are looking at your character menu when the "match ends" timer reaches 0, you will be safe. I played 2 more games of Momentum Control, and this suggested workaround did indeed work for at least those 2 games.

Tried deleting the 2GB game save file (i.e. cache) and it didn't help. Might have to try a full reinstall overnight

My game is freezing as well, I've noticed it tends to be if I try to back out after a match or if I'm in my menu when the countdown ends.
