Hello,
I was wondering if anyone here knows a way to get Norton 360 to stop blocking Battleye? I have a screenshot but I don't know how to attach it to a post here. I've read some posts here saying that people have got banned because of having their antivirus running while playing Destiny. Will Bungie actually ban people for having an antivirus running? Sorry for these posts, the other day I posted whether just just owning a VM(I never ran anything on it like i mentioned in my last forum post on 8/23) would constitute a ban, but a mentor cleared that up for me and I'm thankful. I just wanted to see if anyone here could do the same. I dont want to be banned and lose years of progress because of an antivirus.
EDIT: IF anyone has used Norton 360 how do you allow a program to run without being blocked?
EDIT2: I just went back to console. The pc version of D2 is just gonna cause me problems. I disabled the anti virus entirely and now I get massive frame drops. This is kind of inconvenient to be honest. Before this current season I had no issues with the game on pc.

Just started seeing a flood of these today. The beservices.exe was already set to "allow" in my firewall app settings so I added to the "Items to exclude from scans" in the antivirus admin settings to see if Norton will leave it alone. Settings > antivirus > scans and risks tab > exclusions / low risks (scroll down to get to this section) > Items to exclude from scans > Configure+ I just added the entire C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\BattlEye folder to the exclusion to be safe. Hoping that works!

2 RepliesI am getting alerts in my Norton 360 about blocking BESERVICES.EXE from unauthorized access to NortonSecurity.exe. I’ve been playing Destiny 2 since it being on PC and I’m afraid of getting banned because of my antivirus.
