Lorentz needs tracking removed in crucible.
You hated people getting an advantage with sword peeking, so you just add a giant tracking target to enemies instead?
Remove this -blam!- in pvp. Nobody asked for wallhacks.

3 RepliesDon't remove it; fix it. Right now it will randomly track an enemy through walls, even if you haven't seen them yourself, even if you don't have the weapon out. You can walk around with it stowed and still randomly have trackers pop up telling you where enemies are for free. It obviously is not supposed to work like that and the gun is likely bugged. I'm assuming it's supposed to show the tracker after you've seen the enemy while ads on them. First trials week is certainly gonna be interesting....I can already imagine 3 empowering rift warlocks sitting in spawn with snipers out and Lorentz on the side telling them exactly where the other team is.

Its comical in light of the quickdraw nerf and other things that give a negligible advantage. I mean there is a Stompeez nerf in the pipeline FFS.

I can see the wall hack thing getting adjust sometime this season but don’t expect other things on the gun will get touched. In the past Bungie ends up needing their wall hacks when ever they have been implemented. Excluding wishender for some reason

Well we all know it won't get removed so no point in asking that. The wallhack that it gives needs to be adjusted somehow because it seems entirely random when it procs. I loaded into a rumble match yesterday and I was immediately targeted on spawn.

I don't think it has been an issue for me. Of course I also made a bow, so I exclusively use cover and tender bait shots all the time. For what I've seen, it's aim assist is -blam!- too.

I’d be okay with this. As long as it doesn’t effect PvE. The tracking doesn’t last super long in pvp and it requires you to be only ~20m away. It wasn’t too crazy in standard crucible when I was messing around with it yesterday (momentum control was hilarious though). Stat wise, it’s got 16 less range than Arbalest and only 1 more aim assist. I’d be more worried about cheaters and the like (or you could just be getting stomped in the bigger player pool with CBMM). In PvE, it’s a fun gun that actually works really well in solo or 3 man activities. Most people want it to be merged into the ground, but this is an acceptable change.
