Ascendant Ballast I bug
I completed a run of the Shattered Forest and picked up several Astral Anchors on the way (at least 5). On finishing the activity, I noticed only 1 had been counted. Yet, on replaying the activity, these Anchors are now gone and I cannot pick them up again to finish the challenge.

EDIT: This issue was resolve last night: https://twitter.com/BungieHelp/status/1430708330570293249 The Ascendant Ballast Seasonal Challenge now counts acquired Anchors. Already picked up ones may not count so players will have to wait until Week 2 for completion.

Week 3 and still no fix, I am at 1 patrol of 20 for edz and have all the shattered realm ones. I know I got them in week 1, but regardless there are none in the known locations.Playing on xbox ,not sure if the glitch is platform related. Bungie,You have got to do something. This quest is part of the wayfinder compass leveling, which means everyone suffering from this glitch cant complete it.

14 RepliesSitting at 24 anchors collected in the triumph menu and challenege is 17 patrol area and 1 shattered realm. Should be 7 in the shattered realm.

I have the same problem 6 out of 10 showing have checked for all 10 with all three characters. Also Have done all but mention bugged quest and pvp and reputation for compass stuck at 3 no matter what I do won't advance

Hopefully they acknowledge this, and fix it sooner than later - and that it will autocomplete for those who have done this step.

mines stuck even checked the youtube videos and shows i have 10 from the realm but only showing 7 on the quest

Bug is driving me crazy. At 33/30 on the triumph.. 20/20 for patrol, and 6/10 on ascendant realm. Really want to upgrade the Wayfinder's Compass, hopefully before reset !

this bug is preventing us from leveling our compass and decreasing the cost of troves. will we get refunds to parallax trajectory that are wasted because of this?

Picked up all 10 in the shattered realm and only got 6/10 on the challenge. A few times picking up the anchors subtracted from the challenge.

Same here, 5/10 with barriers, and i get almost in my first run 5, and only count 1 too.

Same problem here too! I have 29/30 logged in triumphs, I have completed the 10 in the ascendant realm, but now only shows 2/10 in the challenge "ascendant ballast 1" Thought I'd log it the same as everyone else....

same here i spent all night looking for them and got my buddy all of them and i am stuck on 7/10 will it still count as completed or am i screwed

Yeah, we are stuck at 6/10. We thought we missed them, but nope.

1 ReplyMy theory is that it only counts Anchors found on a single run, however when you find an anchor it permanently disappears, leaving you unable to complete the challenge if you don't get them all on the same run. I only collected 3 on my first run, then got the other 7 on a second later run, and now the counter only says 7 acquired. The 3 from the previous run are now gone, and I can no longer obtain the challenge.

Same here. Stuck at 1 of 10 and we went in as a group and collected about 8 of them.

Yup. Is busted and was definitely the water wheel one that did it
