Wayfarers voyage 1 won’t progress
I’m stuck on step 2 of the quest it won’t progress. Tried restarting the pc etc to no avail is this a known issue?

9 RepliesEdited by emigorawr: 8/25/2021 1:43:15 AMFound a [b]solution[/b]: I was stuck on step 4/4 and it wouldn't let me speak to Petra. I found that deleting the quest and then interacting with the Wayfinder's compass I could pick up the quest again (at the bottom of the menu when you interact), and it complete the quest.

2 RepliesI see a lot of people suggesting abandon the quest, however in my case the quest has already gone. I got the quest completed tag line and I have the gun etc but the completion only shows 50%. Anything I can do about that?

1 ReplyYup Confirmed Steps for resolution Abandon the quest make sure you have a space in your kinetic slot Then re-aquire the quest which will give you the weapon (I think it's always the Iota Draconis) Then you can progress

9 RepliesEdited by chadley71: 8/25/2021 6:11:37 PMwas stuck on step 4 and did what people are saying to complete it by abandoning and reclaiming at compass BUT while you get the text dialog and weapon I did not get Petra talking which is what normally would happen. Also doing this last step would you expect to earn the very first Seasonal Challenge? Mine is 100% taken killed but still the Wayfarer voyage 1 is not ticked off as yet even though quest was completed and triumph claimed.

2 RepliesI can't even get the Wayfarers Quest at all. First character when I logged in got taken into the introductory mission and still does not have the quest. Second character I logged in did not get the cut scene and taken into the quest.

4 RepliesSame problem. Had a full inventory so couldn’t pick up the weapon reward. Transferred a weapon to clear space, went back and can’t progress. Won’t give the weapon again. Tried abandoning the quest and now can’t get it back from the kiosk

4 RepliesMines bugged too, got to step 3 and the quest completely disappeared from my inventory, checked the compass and there are no lost quests to pick up. I have the next 54 part quest but I have not received credit for wayfarer part 1

I’m stuck on step 3. The part where they tell me I need to put on a barrier uprade for the wayfinder compass, but nothing is offered at the upgrade page in the HELM. I’ve tried abandoning and reacquiring the quest but to not avail. Even tried picking up anchors on the EDZ but they simply disappear when I interact with them (without Parallax Trajectory rewards). Bungie please help!

I have the same problem. I have run it twice and both people in my fireteam progressed. Only I didn't!!

The ether and battery part of the new activity are broken, no progress can be made. I’ve been stuck on this part of the quest since reset. This is more broken then the High Celebrant mission when it came out.

1 ReplyI can confirm that if you are stuck on step 4 of 4, delete your quest, and make sure your energy weapons have an empty slot, then pick up the quest again at the compass, you can resume the quest. the problem is that you need to get the fusion rifle from Petra and if you can't pick it up you can bypass that step and the quest will go away.

3 RepliesAbandoning the quest, and then going back to the Awoken part of helm to recollect it WORKED FOR ME!!! I hope this info helps others!! You can't recollect quest from kiosk!! It must be picked back up from the wayfinder's compass.

1 ReplySame issue for me. I cannot progress any further. Originally did it with a friend, then did it by myself, then I restarted the game, still got the Ether Collection encounter, didn't shoot any wisps (cuz BungieHelp tweeted out saying to not shoot them), and still nothing. Gonna do this on another character. If someone tried doing the quest on another character, please say so. I will report back with an update.

I ran the quest step/astral event on a second character. When I switched back to my first character, my progress advanced.

1 ReplySame issue on Xbox. I'm directed to talk to Petra in the HELM but all I get is the Wayfinder screen. Restart game and also tried an alt. Same result.
