Thank you! That was a very good idea and gives people a lot more control over who they end up on a fireteam with. ❤❤❤
I hope you all have a brilliant day and can relax and have a great time playing the game. Byeeee. ❤❤❤

You can’t block who you play with 🤣😂🤣😂. You can only block who communicates with you.

1 ReplyDon’t rage quit if u don’t want the penalty. It’s a game.
-
1 ReplyIf we can only be as entitled as to "block" people we don't like from our existence. But alas, we just have to deal with them and try to make the best of it during that time.

Edited by Mr Gnat: 8/26/2021 5:13:35 PMBro or broess. Chilax. Turn off crossplay. It may help once you get back into gambit. It’s only a game. Treat it as such. *edit- form a fireteam.

3 RepliesFinally, people like you get what you deserved. Us solo players are constantly screwed over by people like you. People who are quitters, whiners and complainers.
-
4 RepliesStop quitting. If you want to avoid someone, switch to another mode for a bit.
-
5 Replies10 minutes of putting up with a toxic gambit player is pretty much the norm for me. Either toxic invaders, or blueberries who don’t dunk their motes and die. Either way, after 3 matches you get a pinnacle. Just don’t quit and you won’t have that problem. Everyone else is playing with said toxic player, why should you be allowed to leave?

1 ReplyThe console block system changed several years ago. It used to be that blocking on console prevented you from pairing with or against that person in the game. Doesn’t work that way anymore, which sucked, and then new light eventually made it suck more.
-
If you blocked them via Xbox I doubt bungie has access to their system to see that. Just mute them. Or take a break from gambit if it’s an issue. Bungie has no way of knowing why you quit early.

2 RepliesEdited by prawnk1ng: 8/24/2021 3:13:48 PMBy your logic you will block anyone that’s better than you at the game, Until you’re at rank number one
-
1 ReplyJust turn off voice chat lol
-
4 RepliesThat sounds like a you problem...
-
1 ReplySounds like you've always been a victim, and that you always will be.
-
2 RepliesMaybe suck it up and take the L? Why are you guys so afraid of seeing the defeat on your screen? Does it hurt your pride or something? Its just a video game and like all video games you either adapt and get better or fail miserably. Rage quitting just shows how much of a loser you are. Im sorry in advance if that sounded messed up but seriously, who cares if you get owned? Learn how to improve, you think I started off a god in pvp when I started playing pc? I got my -blam!- handed to me until I started learning to adapt.
-
3 RepliesGet where your coming from with toxic players nothing worst than loading into elim and your team mates just stand there or jump off the map -_- Not worth quitting over but it is super super common
-
6 RepliesLet me tell you something, during my grind to reach gambit reset rank I was stuck needing one win, I lost 8 games in a row because garbage teamates like you left midgame when we could of easily won. Dont quit midgame its rude and more importantly it screws over your teamates. The audacity and entitlement is insane
-
5 Repliesso someone was invading and killing you repeatedly and that's toxic behavior? if that wasn't it, exactly what about their 'behavior' was toxic? not letting you win? and why do people get so mad when someone leaves gambit? because you handicapped your team. if you quit just cause you aren't winning, you are the problem.
-
3 RepliesEdited by Andy-ALAW BEEP-BEEP: 8/26/2021 1:38:33 AMSo you quit games you are losing The problem is you do you want a system where you are always in the winning side
-
15 RepliesWhy would blocking someone mean you don't vs them 😂 could just go into trials and block every one you lose against for easy lighthouse
-
9 RepliesSo you're mad that Bungie banned you for leaving because you got matchmade with a player you didn't like, but had blocked, so there was zero reason to leave the match since they can't do anything to you?
-
1 ReplyOMG TOXICITY ON A COMPANIES PLATFORM FROM AN INDEPENDENT PARTY MEANS THAT SAID COMAPANY PROMOTES ABUSIVE CULTURE!!!
-
2 RepliesGambit is dead so if you don’t wait a while before starting a new match, you are going to match with them again
-
1 ReplyHow were they being toxic, if I might ask? You talk about toxicity and stacked teams in the same post, so I'm not sure exactly what you were trying to avoid.
-
24 RepliesEdited by Astrosa: 8/24/2021 6:26:02 PMOk so I kinda got your point maybe a little too much victimization, But then you just ruined it by asking why people get mad when someone leaves a game. Well you see gambit has this ranking system that rewards more points for winning stacking up to 5, however losing reduces those stacks. Also because if you leave your teammates to die, you do exactly that since games can get pretty unfair when your down a player. I understand that there was a toxic dude but you blocked him so he can’t hurt you anymore, unless emoting and crouching is your kryptonite. Because you left those games upon seeing toxic man you kinda ruined the other players games.

1 ReplyMake your own fireteam...it's not hard.

10 RepliesSome people just shouldn’t play video games. It’s kind of funny that this person actually thinks bungie matchmaking is the problem. Protect yourself from what? Getting mad at someone else online. Destiny’s community is mostly great but a large part is extremely toxic…. Like literally every game. Mind craft looks fun maybe that’s a better option? The best part is if you start getting mad at people again and need to “protect yourself” your mind craft skills might transfer to legos.
