PSA to ALL Destiny 2 players
SUGGESTION: Do not...I repeat do not waste a vacation day Tuesday OR Wednesday of next week.
Do yourselves a favor and don't waste your hard earned vacation because make no mistake.....there will be down time...as usual.
Save your time so you can fully enjoy it when it's stable.
That is all.

7 RepliesLet me share what Solstice 2021 looked like for me. I spent 5 hours after work trying to get 40 minutes of play time. Now quadruple the problems since it is a [u]brand new season[/u] and not just a boring seasonal event that many don't bother with.

Theres not point in wasting a vacation/sick day to play a game if you won't even be able to play it the day it comes out because it never works. Of course you can do whatever you want, but if you take the day off specifically for this, you are setting yourself up for disappointment. If you take the day, don't come here whining that you wasted your day.

In year 2 on the other hand, i would have taken a whole week off for a new season and would still be unsatisfied to not be able to play more after that week. Now i play on reset day in a new season and already feel like i have to wait for another week to get something to do again. Only the reissues will keep me busy for a bit and thats really sad.

What vacation mate I lock down for months due Covid outbreak what else to do than watched Destiny 2 servers shit them self every time when new season begins , that’s a thing not to miss. Lol

I remember rise of iron. I was soooo pissed, didn’t get in til 7 pm eastern time. What’s frustrating is we have all the issues but look on twitch and streamers are already max light with every exotic

I am currently off from work for 2 weeks. It has no bearing on the new season at all, just pure coincidence. That being said, I have no intentions of playing D2 until the weekend at least anyway.

Did it with Witcher 3 and did it last week Monday at the fault of bad avacadoes. Thanks for the heads up even though I can’t if I wanted because of last week Monday, I like to chain my sick days far and wide.

Usually by Wednesday it's stablized. But I do agree Tuesday will probably suck.

On every release day since, forsaken the game has either played , real bad, sat in ques,or the game has been taken off line, for maintenance for portions of the day. I personally don't even waste days for seasons. There is never that much to do. ALSO YOU WILL BE THE ONES ON THE FORUMS CRYING TUESDAY, WHEN THE GAME IS BROKEN OR DOWN. Wednesday probably won’t be bad tbh. Now Tuesday game will be lucky to be online by 4 est and will likely be functionally ddosed and queued with networking errors for 4-5 hours after that.
