So I was a big destiny 1 player I came back a couple months ago . I used to think the Titan was so useful in destiny 1 . But now he just doesn’t seem fun or very useful besides for that Titan crash for dps . Is there a build that someone knows that will make me enjoy him more ?If so appreciate it In advance.

1 ReplyLoL it’s only going to get worse. No QD exotic, no Get out of jail free card(dodge) And now they’re Nerfing one of few movements Titans had. It is what it is.

7 RepliesEdited by Centaur-1: 8/20/2021 1:18:04 AMIt depends what you count as fun. If you enjoy being an absolute beast who obliterates everything in your path, than play titan. If you enjoy floating around and healing your teammates while shooting lasers from your hands, than play warlock. If you enjoy having a cape performing circus tricks before running into a crowd to die instantly and get your whole fireteam killed trying to revive you, than play hunter.

Bubble. Helm of Saint-14. Punching blind opponents to death. Never gets old.

I loved my D1 Striker and the ability to customize my skill tree. The changes done to my Striker in D2 making it a roaming super always made me feel like they redesigned it for pvp and I've never liked the fixed skill tree crap. Thundercrash, despite being weak when introduced, paired with Cuirass of the Falling Star has brought a bit of fun back to the Striker class for me and my play style.

For titans it’s all about gear optimization. For instance you want to try and build synergy around your subclass weapons and exotic armor. If you want a punch heavy build wormgods caress and bottom tree striker is a match made in heaven constantly getting burning fist stacks paired with knockout results in crazy damage numbers, pair this with a blasphemer with swashbuckler and you’re out DPSing just about every weapon in game. Another fun one is heart of inmost light with behemoth, code of the commander, and bottom tree sunbreaker. This exotic pairs best with these classes because of how strong the abilities are and how frequently you’ll get them back because of the neutral game giving you shields, health regen and amazing crowd control. The empowerment buff from heart of inmost light gives you the best ability regen stacked with more ability damage so you can just start spamming grenades melees and class abilities endlessly. If you want to get even crazier with it throw on travelers chosen and just skip the already short ability cooldown altogether. These are just two of many different combinations you can try out. The great thing about titan is that you can get really creative to suit your specific play style. Try giving it a shot. I hope this helped :)

Edited by CommanderGT60: 8/20/2021 11:22:47 PMIf you want a fun D1 build. Max intellect with fist of havoc. Fun D2 build? Top tree sentinel with doomfangs.
nibbles crayon
Everyone has their own preference

1 ReplyHere are some suggestions: 1. Bottom Tree Solar with Hallowfire Heart exotic chest. It's all about the Sunspots. 2. Stasis with Crest of Alpha Lupi. Slide around. Break crystals. Get overshield. Pop your barricade to break your wall of ice and for regen. Winning! 3. Middle tree striker with Cuirass of the Falling Star. Nuff said. I haven't discovered a fun void loadout yet.

He's just the easiest to understand

Just you, striker last's forever, sentinel last's forever, ashen wakes...just ashen wakes, hunters have the least use right now, tether has no place anymore, every other class out damages and has more add clear options, we just don't fall to our deaths as often 😂

Edited by Systamatik: 8/20/2021 3:25:56 PMBehemoth with all the Shard Fragments Inmost light chest Spear and melee shards Monte Carlo Shiver strike everything and slam spears to clean up whatever survived.

Subjective.

I’ll name a few of my favorites: For pve Bottom tree sunbreaker with hallowfire heart Ursas and middle tree sentinel Falling star and middle tree Doom fang, bottom tree sentinel, and Monte Carlo. Greatest super build ever You can go classic bubble and helm of saint 14 For pvp Actually, there isn’t really any good subclass for pvp. Here are some of the better options Bottom tree sunbreaker Middle tree sunbreaker with ashen wake. Do it right, and you can get infinite one hit grenades Bubble is fairly decent Thundercrash is alright Bottom tree striker is fun if you wanna go full ape. It all really depend on your play style. Find what you like and use it.
-
I mean, that depends on what you find fun. I enjoy more of a Defense/Tank and Healer/Support role, which is why I rarely touch my Hunter, but love playing Top & Middle Sentinel, and Middle Dawnblade.
-
least fun is hunter fight me
-
Bubble with dunemarchers is pretty sick in pve, infinite overshields and big easy add clear
-
Phoenix cradle with sunspots is fun. Ashen wake with middle tree sunbreaker and fusion nades is fun. Titan is a brilliant all round class. Can provide support, dps and add clear. If you're not enjoying it then that's just your preference but there's plenty of builds that can make titan fun.

It's never fun to play the glue eater class...

Thanks for all the suggestions guys and gals very appreciated

I’m still running my Titan like I did from D1… Top tree Striker with Perigrine Greaves. Shoulder charging just never gets old as far as I’m concerned. 👊🏻
-
I'm totally living out my space knight power fantasy.

I like middle and bottom tree solar either with burning steps for middle or phoenix cradle for bottom tree. Run an all solar build and elemental well plus chargedvwith light build and it wrecks either pvp or pve. Bottom tree striker or homing arc missile are fun But I do feel sentinel/defender titan needs work esp with the nerf to bubble in pve it could do with maybe reflect damage on it. Same for barrier build an exotic could enable refect damage/projectile buff
