Title says it all. You guys really screwed up matchmaking this season and it's miserable.
-
4 RepliesYou think it’s bad now? XbSX/Ps5s will be in same MM Pool as old gen next season.
-
1 ReplyIt’s honestly best to not even bother with the dog vomit pvp in this game unless you run with a 5 stack minimum. It’s bearable then. Comp and Trials, on the other hand, are beyond saving and need to be deleted from existence.
-
3 RepliesIve been fine with quickplay control, even though been facing delays in hit registration. Clash on the other hand, the connection is horrible... i have no idea if its me, them or bungie... tried everything.
-
I played some QP and I usually don’t as of recently. I’m have never seen so many afk players. Every game it seemed like was a mercy.
-
It's the same as it ever was, trash.
-
2 RepliesIt’s fine. It’s based off the best connections. Faster que times. Less sweaty games. I don’t see a problem. Mercy rules then and there. But yea.
-
7 RepliesNewsflash. It isn’t the matchmaking. It’s the fact the only people playing it are sweaty since the mode hasn’t been updated in years. Blame Bungie, not the matchmaking.
-
its horrible especially if you are solo queuing
-
It's because Bungie changed to a marchmaking that cares only about connections. It does not factor in skill, stats, how many people on a team, K.D., elo, nothing! Just connections. Bungie admitted this in a TWAB a while back, that they were changing it to this, from what used to be a skill based matchmaking that tried to balance the teams based on stats. That is why, there is so many mercies. Why you have a team of 5 people with negative K.D. yet the enemy team is 6 people with over 100 flawless each. It was a trash decision that needs to be reversed. It was done to please streamers cause streamers cried nonstop for cbmm cause they want to stop going against other sweat -blam!-s and go against random noobs so they can record beating up on weak players and make themselves look more talented than they are.
-
4 RepliesNah its just the stupid team balancing purposely giving you bad players or good players depending on how you're playing. Gotta keep that 50% win rate eh?
-
Quickplay MM right now makes no sense to me. When I go in Quickplay I simply accept the fact that is going to be a stomp or be stomped situation. On an average of 10 matches, I'd say that 6-7 ends with a Mercy Rule, not counting all the time I get matched in already started Matchs with the Opponet Team dominating. I've lost the count of all the time I've been matched in a match, make 2-3 steps in, get destroyed by a Super, 20 seconds later Shaxx screams"That's enough!" and Mercy Rule is applied. IMHO, it's pretty clear that Bungie can't keep up with both PvE and PvP. I don't expect any kind of improvement for the future when it's about the Quickplay.

Edited by A_mo: 8/19/2021 5:30:31 PMI Can't believe people think it gets like that because "there's nothing but sweaty players left." Every season too.
-
About 70% of my matches end in mercy.
-
I literally got two messages yesterday of ppl asking me why am I trying so hard when I’m just chilling like everyone else who likes to play the game. Qp should remain connection based matchmaking because we had sbmm and seen how that went in d1 and other games. We just need an incentive for competitive play and trials as well. I don’t like when causals jump off the map to get the gun I want them to try and get better just give us better incentives and maybe same way search was back in the day, put us in game chat in the competitive modes so solo players have more of a chance to have a team.
-
its cause there's nobody but sweats playing PvP.
-
Control, rumble and clash are all plagued by poor matchmaking and bad spawns. 50% of my deaths are from behind just after spawning in. With no new changes to pvp recently, most average players stay away from pvp outside of pinnacle collection, the remaining players are so sweaty it's not funny. We need a better matchmaking algorithm, we need better spawns to make the battle linear so you spawn in and face the enemy instead of them spawning right behind you. And for crying out loud we need new maps, which we know isn't happening soon, a single new map coming with witch queen and 2 D1 maps return isn't near enough
-
ITS THE TEAM BALANCING, not the the matchmaking, don’t mix them up.
-
4 RepliesWhat does unplayable mean in this context?
-
2 RepliesThere are intermittent delays in button registration when getting in close range of other players
-
4 RepliesIt’s pretty shit 90% of the time then you get matched against stacked or 3.9 kd players. I like a challenge stop whining and just kill shit that moves ☝️
-
1 ReplyIdk if bungie secretly switched to sbmm because my games have been laggier and far sweatier than normal. It could just be destiny is in content drought so the casuals tend to play other games until the next season and I’m stuck facing streamers again.
-
1 ReplyIts just super boring. Casual players get shit stomped and skilled players get lobby balanced so hard that they drop 40 kills just to lose because their teammates dont shoot back. Useless game mode
-
I would like a PvP overhaul with ranked playlists. I would also like the Vex. For now that is all
-
How so?

5 RepliesGo into elims and comp if u don't like "cbmm" (if u even wanna call it that, connection hasnt been as garbage as it was beginning of forsaken)
