Returning player missing exotics
I’m a returning player to Destiny 2. I started the game on release, took a break, then later returned to Forsaken when it was free on Playstation plus. I played a good bit then took another break just after Shadowkeep came out. Anyways, I am now returning for the third time and I’m trying to grind missions, raids, and dungeons, but I notice that I’m missing a TON of exotics that I used to own. As any player would, I checked collections to see if I could just reclaim them, but it’s as if I never had them. I’m a hoarder when it comes to exotics, so I know I didn’t delete them. Has anyone else has this problem when returning? I’ve seen a couple of people complaining about it, but they only got nasty comments. Is there a way to contact bungie about it? I grinded for a lot of those exotics and it’s really demoralizing to see that they just disappeared after a break like that. Almost makes me want to give up again.

Are you sure you're logging into the correct account? For collections: Collections were introduced during the Warmind DLC in year one. Everything that was in players inventory at that point or was acquired after that, will appear in collections. Since your first play session was more than one year after the Warmind DLC, there is no way this could lead to missing exotics due to dismantling them. According to one of your comments, you remember doing the leviathan raid with a fireteam of ratkings. There is only a single instance of the leviathan raid in your game history and you were alone. This further leads again to my question above - are you sure it was this account? Another thing is, that you said you had a lot of armour for all three classes. Your currently linked acount never had the warlock as a character, theifore you cannot acquire any armour for this class.
