I currently use Verity's Brow a lot, and there is no question that it could have used a slight buff, but I feel like this was the wrong direction to go in. Due to Osmosis not functioning with Stasis, the lack of Stasis energy weapons, and one unwieldy Stasis Heavy, the fact that I am essentially locked out of using Verity's Brow with my Stasis subclass hurts a lot. To be frank, Verity's Brow was the only exotic I would use with Stasis as there really isn't much by way of Exotic Armor that helps improve or expand the functionality of Warlock's Stasis subclasses outside of other class-neutral exotics. I would have taken the added functionality of allowing Heavy or Osmosis weapons to proc Death Throes and left the grenade damage buff increase as that liberates Verity's Brow, but forcing Warlocks into matching their weapons with their class attunement? Don't we have enough of that through the Well Mods? I do not like this change at all and will probably not be playing Stasis in PvE in most cases.
(Edit) When it comes to Warlock grenade builds, other Exotics will still be much preferred. All that this change does is translates Verity's Brow's niche away from being a class-neutral exotic, into a Light-class neutral exotic.

I do believe stasis weapons are coming either next season or in witch queen
-
I don't care what they do to it. If it doesn't get an ornament next season, I'm not using it. Verity's Brow is ugly.

1 ReplyLol Nez sin has secretly been the best stasis warlock exotic since launch
-
5 RepliesPretty sure the change was made in order to nerf the turret spam in GM
-
It looks like it could be a very strong change. You just have to wait to see.As for stasis if it works with the side arm then I'm all for it.
-
Yeah ..I'm not a fan of this change at all tbh. In a game where Bungie want us to match elemental shields with elemental damage types, removing subclass neutrality is just unnecessarily restrictive. Unless Match Game isn't going to be a thing....

Use Hard light or Borealis Or use Eye of Another World

pretty garbage change that was completely unneeded, same with lucky pants. Given the incredibly limited variety of weapons, you may have a very strong Arc HC that is in a favorable archetype with very good perks you like, but you are then sacrificing your super because you want to use a HC with an element that is not good in end game content. I'm sure the rework will be crazy for EV, possibly TLW in PvP, and maybe some others, but requiring a matching element is a terrible change

4 RepliesHopefully we get a stasis energy weapon that can roll demolitionist. I'm with you, I like the build. Excited to see handheld supernova buff paired with this buff to verity's. If we get oppressive darkness next season....

2 Repliesmm next season we got lengedary stasis weapons
-
Next season just wait

1 ReplyYa it’s no surprise they made the turrets op and instead of pissing off the TWAB creatures they just changed the one exotic that makes them infinite
-
I issue i have is that it forces you run a specific element to work, this limits player choice. Now if there was a specific bonus to running same element and weapon based off the element used maybe. By forcing you run the same element as subclass to get the desired result makes it worthless than the 50% cap on regeneration exotics. (Separate issue but rework them completely to have nothing to do with regeneration, it breaks the power fantasy in pve.)

1 ReplyAgree 100%. I use Verity a lot with stasis to boost the turret damage. It was nice being able to pair a good SMG in the energy slot to proc Death Throes. The ONLY way this change will work will be if they add a bunch of good stasis weapons. But FFS bungie, stasis has been a thing for 2 seasons now and we only have 2 stasis weapons that are both exotic and both complete shit outside of niche uses.

Be a Titan, there’s absolutely no point using Stasis in any activity at all!
-
5 RepliesOsmosis was changed to work with Statis at the start of the current season. And while Statis energy and power weapons are being introduced starting next season, how they're allocated and how available they are to the general player base concerns me.
-
Aren't they bringing Stasis weapons soon? Because they said they were. This wouldn't be a problem then.
-
Look how they massacred my boy! 😭

4 RepliesNgl it seems like a nerf for running this with the stasis turret. But you can now get a 100% grenade damage buff and handheld supernova is getting a base 100% damage buff at the start of the season.
