the game is unplayable

I don't know what has happened, but the game's connection has been awful for the last couple of weeks, been getting beaver codes just flying to the tower, been having 1 bar connections in every activity, crucible is the worst experience of all time, nothing has changed with my internet, so don't even bother saying it's my end, like the title says the game is basically unplayable at the moment

  • Hello. The BEAVER error occurs when players experience connection quality issues (such as packet loss, ISP saturation, or general internet congestion). You may want to review our BEAVER article at http://help.bungie.net for more information. You may want to review our guide on improving latency and packet loss to see if that might help. You may also want to review our Advanced Steps Networking Guide for information on UPnP, NAT, and Port Forwarding.

    • i understand the frustration but please consider, the forum is not flooded with posts like this which would indicate the problem is somewhere between bungie and you. it's not necessarily your end but there are some things you can do to check. 1.) if you use wifi, try switching to a wired connection if possible. 2.) measure your internet speeds and post back here. don't tell us what you pay for, tell us the measured numbers for upload, download, latency and ping. 3.) when was the last time you rebooted your modem/router. that should be done on a regular basis. 4.) when was the last time you cleared your console cache? unplug the power for a full 5 minutes. that can help a ton of different issue.
