Do overload champions have a sprint cancel on being stunned or something? I'm pretty sure they only get stunned for like .1 second, and immediately go back to regaining health. Can we get a fix to this?
Also why does every fallen have an arc version of the needler when incoming arc damage is increased? Shooting me around corners so my shield doesn't regen...
Mainly the captains for overload. But I think the whole overload mods, and how long they get stunned needs work. Also maybe their health regen toned down a bit, or if I keep doing damage to them it stops health regen for a second or 2. These champions get crazy in some of the lost sectors, blinking around so much sometimes you can even hit them to stun them...

Old news, they've been broken literally since they were added into the game

I'm wondering if con6action has something to do with the Overload Minotaurs in the Grandmaster Glassway. I was having trouble all last week in the GM, them not stunning, coming out of stun, healing while stunned, etc. Then I joined what I believe was a foreigner (I'm in the USA) and the boos room went perfectly. They would appear, we would stun, we would anarchy, keep stunning, they would die.

I feel like champions were designed to be taken on with any sort of tick damage, plus spam whatever overload weapon it is that season unless you have divinity. I don’t recommend Using anything other than that in end game content.

1 ReplyThis specific overload captain has been bugged since the lost sector came out. Because he is on the exact spot he spawned, the game decides he gets infinite spawn protection. you have to overkill by insane amounts to beat him or move him somewhere else so damage actually applies. Having a hand cannon with lots of ammo and a triple tap type perk could maybe stop the nutty regen but i would say just pick a different lost sector.

Edited by iflytii: 8/10/2021 6:23:50 PMThat's one of the more frustrating champions for sure. I ran it yesterday at master and almost quit after completely emptying Xeno on him after stunning and not killing him. I had him frozen with a turret, stunned, and ended up running out of Xeno ammo because he would heal faster than I could shoot. There seems to be a negative effect with the freezing and stunning I guess? Then he decided to jump down in the goo... I jumped up on the platform (just below the top platform) and was able to keep him stunned and do enough damage with my hand cannon (bottom dollar with explosive payload) to eventually kill him. I was able to stay in a healing rift, and just slightly back from the edge, and that kept his shots either off-target or non-lethal. So perhaps that champ is bugged, but he can be killed without special or heavy ammo if you are patient enough...

ALL champions are glitched. Solo Lost Sectors are nigh on impossible.

1 ReplyOverload Champions = Trolls
-
I've been saying the same thing.
-
2 RepliesI agree with you but according to some on here overloads are "easy". Not in GM NF they are not.
-
You gently float towards him, land on his head, and hope for the best? Lol It should be stun, anarchy, then empty the rest of your hc clip and boom he's dead. If people think there's any legitimacy to these claims of champions being "too hard" I'm going to reference this video on how not to engage.

4 RepliesJust pointing out you only need 2 anarchy on any enemy, more is just wasting unless you are trying to clear the room by placing them all over. And use an explosive round cannon, fatebringer is very strong vs overloads
-
Overloads in general are not too bad, there are a few that are more buggy than others. The Overload from Concealed Void is straight up broken, most are not this way.
-
7 RepliesI’ve seen so many complaints about overload champions in the lost sectors. I still need to do nearly all the flawless r lost sectors still. Overloads are annoying and tricky to kill alone. They always have been. With how little time you have to do damage before needing to proc another overload rounds to prevent their healing (note: I’m not talking about a second stun. You actually have to re proc overload shots VERY QUICKLY to prevent its healing AND you REALLY can’t afford to miss typically (unless your using any hand cannon with a explosive shot type perk)). You literally have to be INCREDIBLY AGGRESSIVE to kill them. You have to do everything you possibly can to prevent their regen.

Edited by Double07: 8/9/2021 1:16:24 PMA handcannon and an autorifle? You should use a shotgun. Oh wait.
-
Edited by Meow Fairy: 8/9/2021 4:11:31 PMNah its just THIS one that is insabely bugged. But its a good bug as it can be stunned non stop without any timer. Use a explosive payload HC and youll stun him every 2 bullets (He doesnt always bug tough)
-
7 RepliesThe problem is that you are using a 120 hand cannon. It takes 3 HC shots to stun an overload champion so I recommend using a 180 such as the Seventh Seraph Revolver, Posterity, or even Survivor’s Epitaph.
-
3 RepliesTbh your video is not very representative of how they’re bugged. They can be much worse.
-
1 Replyhalf the complaints on the forums are these garbage champions, they know its bugged and never say a word about it, its just like how motes have been bugged forever and they never say anything an make new activities that use motes
-
That particular champion is legitimately bugged and has yet to be addressed. He's one of the reasons I avoid doing Legend/Master versions of that lost sector.
or if I keep doing damage to them it stops health regen for a second or 2.
Actually, they do. It won't stop him from moving around or shooting if his rings are still white, but it will keep him from regenning or teleporting until you stop shooting him with active rounds. It's why I stuck to Malfeasance and Thorn in some Lost Sectors with Overload Captains.

Overloads are bugged AF. This is just annoying.

Buggy mfs

3 RepliesThat overload specifically is always quick on regen, compared to the rest of overloads in that LS. I've found that either arc (with stun mod) nade & sword...or weapon stun + void (vortex type) or duskfield nade, followed by sword were the fastest ways of dealing with it.
-
Edited by Rain: 8/9/2021 9:28:27 AMYou had more than enough time to nuke him. Especially just before the end of the video. No offense but it was not an overload problem more of a user problem. I would recommend an explosive payload weapon to tag him then 2 anarchy followed by either a special or just constantly hit him with your HC. Also stasis is nice because the freeze resets overloads so you can re stun him before the timer restarts. Goodluck. If you're really struggling with overloads use divinity tho it's not needed.
-
4 RepliesYou should try shooting it
-
I should have recorded it but I had a overload champion chase me half way through the map. It wanted me so bad... can't touch this!
