Fire-Forged was completely neglected despite being completely useless

It's no secret Code of the Fire-Forged is probably one of the worst skill trees in the game. Sure it has Hammer Strike, but when was the last time you saw someone using it? It's just not enough to make people use Fire-Forged. The super is a bit lacking in damage even with Hammer Strike applied. It's really inconsistent for clearing ads too. Tempered Metal is trash and has no synergy with the rest of the Skill Tree Explosive Pyre is pointless because it gets overshadowed by Vulcan's Rage. To see a skill tree that used to be meta for so long be so......crap, is just sad. Especially considering it used to be my favorite. My ideas for buffs are as follows
-Tempered Metal: Complete rework. Damaging enemies with and effected by Hammer Strike grants melee energy and super energy -Explosive Pyre: This should proc on all ability kills. -Vulcan's Rage: In addition to what it does now, it should allow Hammer of Sol to use Hammer Strike without needing to sprint, like how FoH can Shoulder Charge. This would not only essentially bring back Suncharge from D1, but also make the super more consistent at ad clearing and give better overall damage due to being able to apply Hammer Strike repeatedly. These changes would not only make the skill tree flow and preform better overall, but would also feed into its "explosive high damage" class identity.
• Imagine thinking it is bad. The only reason people dont use hammer strike is because of div and other weakening options. Before that was a thing everyone asked for hammer strike titans.

    • I actually quite like pairing hammer strike with MK44 stand asides of all things. Smack a boss with the hammer, swap to a GL or rocket for some big damage, then when the debuff wears off, swap to Monte Carlo to get the melee charge back.

      • Nighthawk, Top Tree Tether, and Top Tree Sentinel are in the same place Nighthawk used to be a solid option for damage phases, but way better options have been introduced since it was last viable. TTT has good neutral game, but the super has felt and will continue to feel terrible, as there are way better options for ad clear, and the debuff is pretty pointless when weapons and mods can do the same thing. TTS has a good super for area control and damage phases, but the neutral game is lacking. I missed a few but these are the most underwhelming for me

      • Nova bomb is pathetic too and so is night stalker, I hope they take a look at those before the next expansion.

      • I really like your tempered metal rework, sounds like a real game changer and I would love to see suncharge come back either a subclass rework or exotic rework (immolation fist).

        • Why not keep tempered metal the way it is, fold Explosive Pyre and Vulcan’s Rage into a single perk, and make a new perk for the melee energy?

            • Way of the Wraith for Nightstalker isn't much better. People really only use the Smoke Bomb to slow the enemy, Flawless Execution is getting an indirect nerf next season with the slide nerfs (most, if not everyone using it is a slug shotgun rusher or so far from the action the buffs aren't helping them), and Shattering Strike requires FE be active before performing a melee that weakens enemies. Let's not forget how loud the "stealth" super is, it changes the color of your screen as it gets closer, you move faster while spamming light attacks than sprinting with 100 mobility (being visible drains it faster), you often have to make yourself weaker to catch up, and the only exotic specifically designed for it is basically useless. Now they're nerfing Spectral after 2 years, it certainly isn't a coincidence that the super became too "tanky" after an exotic was made to give DR to invisible players, right?
