NAT type is on open, but still can't play crucible or see anyone in the tower

Logged into Destiny 2 after a year only to find the tower empty, and unable to join any crucible matches or join friend's fireteam. I researched how to fix this, and discovered my NAT type was on Moderate. I followed the steps of port forwarding, and even put my modem into bridged mode as I was experiencing double NAT. This then changed my NAT type to Open, but the problem still remains unchanged. I still can't see anyone in the tower or even connect to players in the crucible. I've tried verifying my game files, cleared steam cache and even reinstalled the game. To no avail I still can't seem to fix this problem. Any help?

 • Hey there. You may want to remove your bridge since that is a hindrance to your connection. Have you checked to see if your modem and/or console also have an open or moderate NAT type? Additionally, do you have UPnP or Port Forwarding set up? If not, here is a guide: Advanced Steps Networking Guide. Just remember that you shouldn't enable both.
