Simple question about PVP and it's importance to the game. If people truly use crucible as something to do when PvE is between things to do, where is everyone?
In 3 weeks when the new season starts, you will see a significant amount of people playing again. Know why? Because most of the player base doesn't give a dog about PVP.
Just something to think about......

There are those who come at the start of every season and drop off after a few weeks. There are those who just want to play for the seasonal story or get a certain weapon, light level etc. The point is that the game survives after those high content periods due to game modes such as crucible due to their relatively high replay ability for low resource allocation. Destiny is designed for players to play all aspects. You take your guardian through all these activities and get loot from them to then take your guardian through other (harder) activities. This is the loop that has always existed and the fluidity between PvE and PvP is what destiny is essentially all about. If you don’t like this then you essentially don’t like destiny and would be better suited to a PvE-only or PvP-only game. This is obviously my opinion but if you took a poll from every player currently playing at this point in the season (who have been playing all season) most of them would say PvP is really important and so too is PvE.
