Vex Mythoclast drop rate is TOO low
Hello, I am a Destiny 2 Veteran player that focuses on PvE Endgame content. I made this post to give feedback to the dev team regarding the Vex Mythoclast drop rate, I have done the raid since release with all 3 characters weekly and I still don't have the exotic. I'm almost done with the seal, just need Master Atheon challenge and still 0 Vex. Please Bungie increase the drop rate of the exotic, I am sure that a little bit of increase to the drop rate is healthy for the game without impacting the weapons rarity. I am sure many other player feel the same way as I do.

33 runs and still no vex for me either. This is a major embarrassment. This should not be this hard . And it is seriously making me consider quitting until they fix it. As they do not seem to take this serious maybe a boycott will force them to look harder at fixing it . Completely unfair for people to come into the game knowing they will not get a weapons that they start after because it will have been nerfed several times by the time they see it. Never getting to experience the time others did. Very very disappointed player . And don't give me any garbage about bad like protection from some Yahoo that has the gun. It's clear there is none or it's broken or we wouldn't see so many articles about this.

50+ Lootable completions in, still no Vex Mytho. Add drop protection. End of story.

Is bungie doing this to keep hype on there game allowing content creators easy access to end game loot? Or is everyone else just unlucky I only have 2 clears but I may not play VOG anymore if I’m looking at taking 30 hours of my valued relaxation time after working all day for 1 gun that will be nerfed next season I may as well not play destiny at all if the best gun in the game is locked to content creators.

I have yet to get one raid exotic. 27 VOG clears and no Vex. I was able to help players this week and someone got it on the second VOG checkpoint they cleared. 5 PC players got Vex with 10 and under clears and I am still waiting.

Edited by BoomerPride: 9/22/2021 5:43:20 PMI have over 25 + clears and no weapon. I was just listening to Aztecross and he was saying only 20% of the D2 population has the vex weapon. That is flat out wrong on Bungie's part. They should give us a chance to get what we paid for. I think a better way of getting a raid exotic would be like the divinity where you as a team go through a quest to get raid exotics. That was a lot of fun for me and the many others I helped to get their weapon.

I feel for you as it took me forever to obtain EOT, extremely fortunately I got mythoclast 3rd try but i agree, these drop chances for exotics in general are BS

14 RepliesSad part about this is the gun is a 2 pack of ass. If they make a weapon insanely difficult to get they might want to make it worth getting. I got mine fairly quick thank god. Used it for an hour and was like ok that was a let down... Off to the vault.

1 ReplyThe bad luck protection could probably be rebalanced. I do believe that the raid exotics should initially be rare. I am fine with the drop rate being low for 10 clears. By the time you get to 20 looted clears, I think it is fine to significantly ramp up the drop rate, possibly even in the 50% range at 20-30 looted clears. I also think there should be a point where it becomes a guaranteed drop, perhaps in the area of 40-50 looted clears.

My friend didn't get a Vex Mythoclast in D1 until like 3 weeks before Destiny 2's release, I know sucks, to this day he hasn't came back

At 22 clears now. Friend got it and a guy who did it only twice got it. I am getting kinda sick of the little joke punishment I give myself too. If I don't get vex my raid team gets to choose my shader I wear for an hour. I'm running out of shaders.

Even i don’t have the Vex but when it finally drops then what? It comes in the fault because it’s worthless. I see nobody play with it. Hahha because of the deoprate but besides that i don’t see any vex. All of those time spending to finally get one to drop and then put it away is just stupid. Typical Bungie to do that. Increase droprate and make it usefull in raid by having a certain perk or get rid off it and take it out of the game and keep playtime minimum and fun to play.
