Tea Bagging: an unenforced violation of Code of Conduct?

"Tea Bagging" - (verb, slang) an overt sexual act involving the repeated dangling of the scrotum on an individual's face When this is done in game, and without consent, it is by definition the depiction of a sexual assault. It is also done with the intention of conveying disrespect to a player. This is a textbook example of a violation of the CoC since "Tea Bagging" violates CoC (1) - disrespect of any kind; and CoC (6) - Depictions, references or descriptions...of sexual content. There are numerous emotes that a player can use instead to convey player dominance that are not disrespectful or sexual in nature. Yet, "Tea Bagging" continues to be tolerated. So, what is Bungie's official position? Is "Tea Bagging" a reportable offense? If not, why?

  • Jesus Christ you people are so -blam!-ing sensitive. I say people because unfortunately, there are others with this extract mindset. It’s a video game. Sure, bagging may suck, depending on person to person and how they see it. But, good god this has to be the dumbest thing I have read, I don’t care how good a point you’ve made as another person said. Bagging is just another thing people like to do get under your skin, or assert dominance, or do just to be silly. If you’re taking tea bagging this literal and really wanting people banned for it, and are complaining to the forums this way, you may have some underlying anger issues you may want to sort out, before you continue to play PvP oriented games.
