Why do you keep bringing back old weapons from D1?
You keep reaching into that vault when Collections have a plethora of weapons still unused. What was the purpose of reinventing D2 if you were going to just going to reach back into the vault somehow and bring them forward. What was even the point of the Red War?
There are plenty of weapons that can be used currently in Collections yet you keep listening to these streamers at the Summit about how they miss their “easy mode” weapons.
What about weapons such as D.F.A or Silicon Neuroma?
Where is Zen Meteor or Zhalo Supercell?
How about First Curse or No Land Beyond?
If you are going to bring back weapons, at least consider the Collections initially before reaching back into a vault that is supposedly destroyed in the Red War.
How about the old raid weapons that could have been easily used in some Umbral Emgram Simulator?
I mean really, what is actually the point of Collections if you dont use it to its max potential.
It is like a huge slap in the face to see all these weapons sitting in the Collections being not used as content for Live Events, Lost Sectors, Strikes, Crucible, Trials, Comp or even Gambit.
Now in PVP, all we gone see are Palidrome(Adept) weapons plaguing the game just like how 120s were beforehand. Your decision making regarding content is that of a 3 year old who cant make a decision between ice cream or sweets. Actually you are much worse than them, at least they have an understanding of what is simple and good in theory.
All this potential gear in the Collections just wasted but lets bring back anything the streamers want. You are catering to the wrong crowd and it is cancer to this game.
Also still no discussion about the lack of space for the vault yet you keep adding more and more content.

3 Replies"Why keep bringing back D1 weapons?" "Where's zhalo, no land beyond, zen meteor" Not a bright one, are ya?

You are all over the map and don't even recognize your own inconsistency. "Waah I hate D1 weapons" "Waah where is Zhalo?" Besides that, the entire idea that the Red War somehow wiped all the old weapons from D1 completely away forever is just stupid as hell. I mean, the weapon manufacturers just forgot how to make them? For "reasons"? Zhalo would never even be viable in this sandbox because literally every arc auto is at least as effective as Zhalo and Riskrunner chains lightning more effectively AND gives an overshield. "Waah bring back No Land and all the D1 weapons I like, but not the others because that doesn't make sense to me waaaaaaahhhh!"

3 RepliesEdited by Starkweather: 7/28/2021 4:08:23 AMThere’s plenty of sunset weapons that they could bring back. One look at our D2 collections and it’d be easy to pull out a handful and update their perks.

I don't understand why Bungie have not updated/reissued the rest of the D2 year 1 weapons that have never been updated like Scathelocke,Origin story,Null calamity,Positive outlook,Curtain call,Frigid jackal just to name a few.
-
2 Repliesthey do bring a lot of old weapons up with random rolls, but all you hear when they do is "Bungo is so lazy, they don't even have original ideas", and when they make new weapons, it's "Bungo sucks, I just want the old stuff, it was way better"

3 RepliesThe only gun I'm okay with coming back is zen meteor because I never got to use it. It was a ps exclusive so that one I'll allow to come back. As for anything other, I'd rather they leave it in d1. They just need to stop being lazy and rehashing weapons. Bungie is just a running joke of "making content is hard" unless it's eververse.

19 RepliesWe already have 2 electric chain weapons significantly better than zhalo. We do not need to have that gun back.

Palindrome was an extremely popular weapon is D1. Its return has nothing to do with streamers.

1 ReplyBecause nostalgia sells.

3 RepliesProblem is, people complain either way. When D1 weapons are brought back, or when D2 weapons are reissued, people complain of recycled content. There's no way to please everybody.

2 RepliesEdited by Ghostfire239: 7/28/2021 4:33:27 AMI just want my NF back. It looked nice, and felt great to use. It had the what I liked most about 140s and 180s. Had the damage of a 150 (or 140 now) but the firing style of 180s. Plus it was an energy HC so I could pair it with my beloved chaperone. Tbh I don’t mind if they bring back D1 weapons, outside of a certain pinnacle weapon, I never really cared for any D2 weapons for PvP (not counting things like Austringer or beloved since they’re basically D1 weapons).

2 RepliesIn fairness while they keep adding content they also are removing content which maybe makes up for not growing vault space?

I mean… I’m gonna farm the -blam!- out of The Comedian…

1 ReplyNot to mention we still have, what 3 nightfall strikes that give sunset weapons as a reward....really? At least with Hawkmoon, they tried to create a story to go with it and why it's not the same as the D1 version, hence random perks.
