there’s one champion in this lost sector that just does not stay stunned for more than a second, but all the others work as normal. what sucks is i can’t even skip him and take the lower loot rewards- the barrier doesn’t go down until he’s dead. it’s really frustrating when the champion starts healing much earlier than intended and three shotting you when he’s supposed to be stunned.

3 RepliesYeah, that lost sector is poorly done. Crimson is what you should use to stun though. All this "explosive payload " crap is just dumb. Crimson puts the 4 necessary rounds in faster than anything else in game, and two bursts fires 6 so it's extremely forgiving.

My favorite part of that is when the overload nonchalantly slips over and falls into the vex milk under the ledge. For some reason shooting it makes the overload move towards the ledge and off.

3 RepliesA Hand Cannon with Explosive Payload or Timed Payload works well on it’s own to stun lock it’s regen and keep staggering it (i’ve seen this in a Solo Flawless Master run) But Malfeasance works best for that Overload specifically.

Stun then destroy with your super is the way I beat that champion. Like you said though he don't start stunned long so this was my only recourse.

Try an exotic round HC. If you've done that I don't know. Overloads have and apparently always will be a see if it actually stunned enemy. Very frustrating.
