Want to know why there REALLY is so many cheaters?

What really happened is not cheaters just have increased randomly, but Bungie caused it directly. So in 2014, and you can go see the video I am talking about, the one that is before D2 and it was the conference streamed revealing everything regarding D2 and its new launch. Luke Smith was on stage talking about Destiny 2, before the launch. He kept saying how not only is Destiny launching on PC for the first time, but because of Activision, it will launch with some of the best anticheat systems on Earth. He kept referring over and over to how Blizzard platform meant anticheat, cause of Activision/Blizzard having World of Warcraft, Overwatch, etc. Decades of work behind their anticheat systems. Now what happened was when Activision split with Bungie, Bungie immaturely started shit talking Activision every time they even spoke. Look at Shadowkeep ViDoc, several times Bungie insults Activision for no reason. Example: "We couldn't do cross play all this time though we wanted to so bad, cause of reasons, capital R". Capital R refers to how in Court documents, Activision is "R". For so many months Bungie was ungrateful, and the spoiled brats they can be at times. Till Activision had enough! Activision kicked Bungie off Blizzard platform, forcing Bungie to scrabble, and throw Destiny on Steam. But that day, this game no longer had ANY anticheat systems cause they were all Activision's. That's why since the day D2 went to Steam, cheaters are everywhere. Now Bungie is still trying to make anticheats from scratch, but as for right now, you report a cheater, a handful of employees can take your report, and then they have to manually read through the code of the player playing, looking for anomalies. Which think about it. If you played 2000 hours, how long do you think it takes an employee to scan over your playing codes to find something not right? There is less than 100 players a week banned. Which is nothing when this game has millions of players. So the point? You have to suffer cheaters cause Bungie didn't care about to impact to players by smack talking Activision till they got kicked from Blizzard. Bungie once again. Shat on you, and this time, you almost missed it. Edit: Freetoplay also affects this greatly.

  • Actually no. Activision split from destiny because the franchise wasn't increasing profit every year for them. Bungie only ever said negative things about activision after they split for financial reasons. Players thought this would be a good thing but it actually made eververse worse and cheating rampant without blizzards anticheat.
