Bungie, why don't you let us customize our characters after we create them?
Hello! I am 100% sure that you've heard it, or someone has told you about this subject. But Bungie, this is something that's been asked for so long, and you have never made it a real feature in the game. I have this Exo Male Hunter, that is in my account since Season 3 (Warmind) and I refuse to delete him, just to change to a Human Woman, because it has been "alive" for too long and I don't have time and pacience to make everything, every quest, mission, again. Please Bungie, I think this is a simple thing that you can add to the game and the community will be very grateful.

2 RepliesIt doesn’t affect gameplay or what you/others see in 99% of gameplay. Therefore it is so far down the list of development priorities that it will never happen. Also, most players have show helmet always on, so character appearance never means anything for them.

If they will do it, it will end up being monetized again just like what they did with transmog. There is no goodwill here. Greed rules here now. Second, if you can't pay with Money. You'll have to pay it with Time. Meaning you need to delete and redo a character again. And they want you to do this because it pads up their numbers. Game is a sinking ship, and they are doing all they can to keep you playing an empty game. Look at the grind. Not only are you grinding, but you are grinding the same content over and over again, some of which are almost 7 years old now. That's pathetic! Lastly, I believe they are making some sort of multimedia entertainment show about the franchise. Not sure what it is yet but maybe movie or seasonal series. They seem to copy Star Wars, and Final Fantasy. If we can change our appearance. Imagine what would happen to the show when Zavala shows up one day as an Awoken Male and then an Exo Female the next show. Imagine Mara Sov becomes King instead of Queen. What do you think Shaxx would say? Hey Mara, what a nice sword you got there! Wanna sword fight? Boom! 😆Ayayay!!!

2 RepliesIt's been asked for since the beginning of D1. They made D2 without it and aren't likely to be making D3 at this point. They had an opportunity to throw us a bone when they "updated" the face models but didn't let anyone change theirs then, either. At this point, it's come down to one of these things: 1 - Bungie can't do it (very likely due to general incompetence, bad underlying code/engine, and/or never planned ahead (DING DING, COMMON THEME HERE)) 2 - Bungie won't do it (also likely because "making content is hard") 3 - Bungie believes that a quick delete/remake is already "the answer" (they don't like doing things they feel they don't have to; see: matchmaking tools) 4 - Bungie hasn't found a way to monetize it yet (with the Transmog system we have, I feel this reason isn't likely; Bungie knows just how to milk those pennies) Basically, don't hold your breath for this. Frankly, I'm surprised we got Transmog in any capacity. Guaranteed that if re-customization was shoe-horned into the game it would be just as clunky, unsatisfying, and clearly meant to be yet another revenue stream for this mobile game pretending to be a console game.

Actually Bungie already addressed that during their live stream before beyond light. They said that they want to make it happen and even add more options to customize and "much more", since then they didn´t lost a single word about it. So looks like they abandoned this idea.

3 RepliesEasy answers. 1. It's too late in destinyd lifespan now, if it is introduced it'll be monotised or behind a grind... 2. This is the most important. No guardian that has ever existed thus far in the entire game has changed... Like at all, no guardian has changed their race or gender so us doing it wouldn't make a tonne of sense. 3. You specifically stated you have a exo male and want it to become a human female... In universe that's impossible, like exos can't become human again.

It doesn’t cost any glimmer, legendary shards, or silver. The only cost is something everyone has... time. Just delete character and create another. Many who really had an issue with a goofy looking character already have done it. Then there is the ones who are too lazy to do so.

I became too attached to my ridiculous looking toons.. Having said that, your question is very reasonable. It would be nice to be able to have that choice

5 RepliesThis is constantly asked for and it will never happen. You want to change your character. Then you have to go back to destiny 1 and start all over again from absolutely nothing. It will never be done cause one bungie didn’t think of it so it will never happen. Two it would be locked behind some bs grind if it did. Three they would make it part of eververse and say you want to redo your character but keep your stuff,stats,and story then you have to pay for it. It’s always being asked for and it will never happen. Stop bogging down the forums with asking for something like that. Either start over or just stop playing. I’m sorry for it sound harsh but there are more important things that need to be fixed with the game over adding something like that to it.
