Am I the bad guy?
Hey guys i’m running a
blinding gernade build with top tree night stalker and gemini jester,
just wanted to know all am i really that bad for using a gl
it has reduced blast radius and all but wanted to know all you guys opinion, let’s keep it civilized
and yes Gls dont take skill as other guns maybe it’s the meta shift that everyone hates this more?

Its laughable how people think shotguns take skill at all but they definitely do now after the nerf. Gls aren't even that much of a threat at all unless you stay still. The fact that you are using blinding nades is proof of skill you can't ome shot because the blast radius is way too low and I don't see why would use it outside of grandmaster nightfalls or as a titan for double blinds. Don't pay attention to the crybabies, I kid you not I have seen people complaining about bows and there has never been a bow meta. People cry about what kills them. Dmt and shotguns are still the most powerful setup outside of 120 and 140 handcannons. The meta is the same just with illusions of more skill. Only noobs were harmed by the nerfs.

1 ReplyAre you enjoying yourself? No harm there. Are you actually harming anyone? No harm done. Are you playing a video game mode with no actual set of rules imposed on how you can have fun? Once again, no harm done. There isn't necessarily a right way play Destiny PvP. Of course the more serious you become about your skill level you might be irritated by other's choices. You may even be the one who irritates, but ultimately it just doesn't matter. Play the game you paid for. Got it free? Play the game with online features and enjoy. Nearly everything else is arbitrary.

I killed him a bunch but he kept going on and on about how I’m bad cause I lost the 2v1 while he was blinded. Although it was a small room and he was using felwinters pre nerf. I was using Cerberus and blind nades [spoiler]dude had problems tho, he was tbagging the first 20 seconds of the match [/spoiler]

39 RepliesYou're playing a Hunter (the scumbag class) A top tree nightstalker (designed to disorient enemies and make you harder to detect even without that, i.e the scumbag subclass tree) A grenade launcher (takes negative skill to use, mostly for scumbags) your launcher has blinding grenades (which actively prevent the player from being able to react, the most important thing to be able to do in this game, which is very scummy) And running Gemini Jester to remove radar even without your grenades, which is compounded by the fact you go invisible every time you dodge. (EXTREME scumbag move.) You run 92 mobility, so you have your dodge up VERY often, so you can abuse Jesters more. (more scumbag moves...) And you're running Shayura's Wrath, an SMG that has competitive damage at Auto Rifle range, which has Kill Clip on it. (Very scummy indeed.) You run Targeting Adjuster on your Shayura's as well, because it totally doesn't have good enough aim already. (Scumbaggery Intensifies) You run SMG Targeting and Unflinching SMG, and Charged With Light mods to supplement your weapons as well, on weapons that are already devastating without them. (Scummy overkill) And to top it all off, you're running mods that regen your melee faster so you can abuse Smoke more often. (Also a scumbag move.) The only thing that isn't scummy is that for SOME reason you have Icarus Grip on your Ignition Code, which iirc don't rocket launchers and grenade launchers have perfect in-air accuracy? So isn't Icarus Grip a complete and total waste? You could run Quick-Access Sling instead and get at least SOME use out of your weapon mod on the launcher. So...yeah, you're a pretty huge scumbag for playing that way.

3 RepliesDon't put yourself down. People which complain about GL and saying it's less skilful are people which suck with GL. Same applies to every weapon. Ask yourself, if people feel GL requires less skill, then it's basic logic every destiny would be using them but they don't.
