Trials an idea for matchmaking against players around the same skill and its not what you think
The idea I have for trials is that it should still be based on the number of wins you have per card but for the week I'm going against tons of people that are just god tier and play this game all the time and I have zero chance of winning nor the patience to practice all the time. what I think is that for that week if you win a flawless for that week you get sent into a bracket above the people that haven't gotten flawless that week yet and this will reset weekly. I got this idea from the fact that Bungie is changing their way of making player want play more by giving them activity bonuses and such. this would also work for those players that want to be the best of the best because they will be able to go against players of their own skill level and this could be used for guilding the badge. Also at the end of each week there could be an emblem for the team with the most flawless for that week and they will be known as very scary folk for having that emblem. So the more you play trials a week the better chance for not so good players will be able to go against themselves allowing for skilled players to have something to reach for and also something for casuals to reach for because even if you think it's not hard to beat the people they are beating, it would still be hard for them.

Unfortunately that version creates a Void for Flawless Players. Ill explain. Lets say 50 go Flawless on Friday, those 50 will match each other until there's infill to increase the Flawless Bracket. Which will probably have a small population. Then you have Casual over there get their first Flawless, then.....you encounter the same problem and then players will begin avoiding the 7th game. Bungie needs to give non flawless players a Reason to play Trials without harming the Flawless Population. Now if bungie does do this, there would need to be Better Rewards in the Flawless Bracket but you then encounter the same problem. I suggest waiting until S15 or the Twab that will show more info in Trials Rank.

If you can't beat them you don't deserve to go thier.
