Since the D2 update yesterday (Thursday 7/15) the game isn't registering my PS4 controller as a PS4 controller. It is giving me the Xbox controls in game. I've verified in Steam that the PS4 controller is recognized.
Any advice?
Controller is wired to PC, connection is solid, controller is sound. It works in game, just not recognized as PS4 specific.

Apparently, Bungie already has official PS4 support for the game and Steam Input isn't required; it works just fine without Steam input (since Steam screwed that up). Steps: 1) Right-Click Destiny 2 in your Steam Library 2) Click Properties 3) Click Controller 4) Click the drop-down menu under 'Override for Destiny 2' 5) Click 'Disable Steam Input' 6) Close dialogue box and launch the game Everything should work as it did for the PS4 remote prior to whatever they did to break it. My wife is having the same problem, it looks like the DS4 is not even in controller settings anymore. Just Xbox. I tried to reinstall the game, but nothing. Hopefully they will fix it with a patch.

Dang it. I almost thought they had found out a way to stop the dishonorable swine controllers. I don't play on PC so I wouldn't know about that.
