If/When Bungie converts light subclasses to aspects and fragments they should have a aspect for bladedancer on arcstrider and one for sunsinger on dawnblade I miss these super and some of their neutral game abilities alot and with how many options we already have in the game I don't think we would lose anything by bringing these classic subclasses back
Edit: Thanks to everyone who commented I read through a lot of them and had an idea a few of you have said you would like Sunsinger back but "NO SELF-REZ" what if they brought it back with more focus on the singer part and less on the sun and made it a Bard class by having radiant skin and song of flame built into the super but no self rez. Thoughts?

4 RepliesBringing back self rez sunsinger would be cool, idc about bladedancer since its very similar to arcstaff.
-
I rather Dawnblade have an aerial version and a grounded version. As far as Sunsinger is concerned, all they need to do is change how Sunbracers work. Instead of using one solar grenade you get access to either one. I wish Bladedancer would have been an option within Arcstrider similiar to how WOD is in Sentinel.
-
Nah, Sunsinger was a gimmick and I played it to death. Only fun part was Fusion Grenade Stick One Taps to make people mad. Blade Dancer should have been a "Tap" Super and Arcstrider should have been a "Hold" Super. Same with Dawnblade and Well.

2 RepliesEdited by DJ Prof K: 7/18/2021 3:01:32 PMDunno bout bladedancer (didnt really touch it in d1) although I thought arcstrider was already super similar. Sunsinger shouldnt come back. Realistically the only thing to use it for was the self rez, and as much as I would love to see it come back, it breaks the game way too much. Normal sunsinger just isnt very compelling as a super.

Bring back the OG feeling of Sunbreaker and Striker…
-
13 RepliesPeople who want sunsinger just want self rez, because they're not good at the game.
-
1 ReplyAs someone who wants Bladedancer, Sunsinger, and Defender to come back in D2... Yeah, the chances of that happening are close to zero.
I may be a Nightstalker in D2, but I'm a Bladedancer at heart.
-
2 RepliesNo there's already void blades and Rez locks break too many things so no.
-
3 RepliesI’m seeing a lot of people who are scared to play against self-res. Farming Warlocks in elim was so fun.
-
Having gone back and played D1 recently, you're looking at them with rosey nostalgia glasses. The current versions of each are much stronger. They feel very underwhelmed now.

If you want nade spam, try subracers.

17 RepliesBlade dancer, no. Sunsinger, yes. Do not need self res though.
-
1 ReplySelf res broke to much so it will never return
-
Only unskilled players disagree with self resurrection being brought back( or for lack of a better word, "resurrected") into the

25 RepliesBlade dancer was basically brought back with spectral blades and sunsinger sucks. It was replaced with an actual support subclass.
-
10 RepliesNo. No self ressing subclasses. If that is done there must be a self ressing subclass for hunters and titans as well. Sunsinger will never make a return. An bladedance is already back. It’s part of the nightstalker subclass now with those two blades. It’s lesser then what it once was but still the same thing as blade dancer just with two blades instead of one.
-
4 RepliesEdited by Ghostfire239: 7/16/2021 1:45:57 AMI mean Spectral is basically void bladedancer minus the blink jump so I don’t think there would be any reason for it to return. Although I would love to have it back just for blink lol Sunsingers could return but self res would probably not return, and that’s what a lot of Warlocks liked about it.
-
1 Replyimo arc staff is way cooler than arc blade
-
Just give arc staff blink and I’d be happy

Edited by thatdudeEd54: 7/16/2021 2:21:33 PMI've been asking for these two supers to come back for a long time now, and honestly they can make self rez have a few tweaks to end game content with revive tokens. For instance in GM's if you self rez, you use up a revive token. Comes in handy if you die in a place where your teammates can't safely pick you up (although if you shouldn't really be doing that at all in GM's). However if your team is out of revive tokens, you can't activate Radiance. In raids and elimination it's the same deal, if you rez yourself and you have a token, you use up that token but if you die again, you can't self rez and have to rely on someone else to rez you.

2 RepliesEdited by UnspokenONI: 7/15/2021 11:00:40 PMI'd rather have D1 version of axion bolts back, scatter nades, and lightning nades back. Also
bring titan belt mark back
bladedancer yes, sunsinger no
-
Hell no to sunsinger.
-
29 RepliesBladedancer would break the crucible and sunsinger wouldn't be popular even though its my favorite, too much power here for it to shine.
-
Once upon a time, we could revive ourselves and save a NF, game of trials, even a raid! And thus the wise bungie bot spoke and decided it was too much power for warlocks to hold, so they gave you a flaming sword… 😁

Yeah I miss my electric blades, but isn’t that kinda what Spectral Blades does for hunters at least. Don’t get me wrong I’d love to be able chose a different element for each fighting style.
