Maybe buffing sidearm range by 5-7% would help with the shotgun-pvp issue. I am a below average crucible player, but find that a long range sidearm, coupled with judicious range control, really helps me with shotgunners. A small range buff might make sandbox balancing better and not affect PVE. I will say, however, that I've tried to shotgun-bully myself and was unable to do it consistently. Perhaps shotgunners are more skilled than people state and have too much of a bad rap? edit: I think that something that supports my argument is that sidearms are rarely in the list of top ten used weapons. (Someone please correct me if Im wrong...) It's always shottys, HC's and various trials specific weapons.
