Grenade launchers in PvP.
It's just BS to get killed while spawning in because of a chain reaction that wasn't even used to hit you!
It's also stupid to play PvP with a three stack or six stack with a double grenade launcher build.
This is not a skill gun! Nerf that sh*t! Make this a gun game!

I don't necessarily have a problem with how they work or whether they are easy to use or not, its just that people basically maining them can get annoying.

2 RepliesThe chain reaction dosen't deal enough damage on it's own to kill you, unless they are running a seasonal mod. Also breach loading GLs are probably one of the more skilled weapons in crucible since ohks only happen on direct hits or with 3 meters. Which might sound generous except their not hit scan, they dont seem to have bullet magnetism, and 3 meters is 3 steps. Compared to the shotgun meta or the high impact fusion meta, this is a much more skill oriented weapon. The only difference, is like snipers there is a large skill gap between someone who is good and someone who isn't.

If these weapon changes do create a huge uptake in usage and kills then I will happily see an adjustment but the data simply doesn’t justify it. It’s just a few peoples opinion trying to make it more than it is.

6 RepliesYou know Dunemarchers (a MOVEMENT exotic) exists, right? ever gotten chained by that one for them hitting a teammate of yours 500 meters away from you? This game is the least balanced a video game can ever get. Obviously noob tubes are annoying, so are 80 other things in this game in pvp.

1 ReplyThe only reason people are using them now is because of the seasonal challenge. I've run into a gl at most once a week before this week, now I see them all over 6v6. Once people get their challenge done (fyi it's faster in Override, just farm the beginning of it with Salvagers), they will probably stop using them

4 RepliesSooner or later you're going to realise that skill is often what we make of it to be. Let go of fighting with one hand tied behind your back and embrace the most broken stuff in the game. If it hasn't sunk in yet that Bungie don't care let me list a few things for you to consider. There's no Anti Cheat and anyone that tells you there is.......is lying to you. Bungie aren't interested in balance. If they were gear would be fixed in PvP. We've not had new maps for over 2 years. Bungie have no ideals when it comes to discussing skill. So embrace the meta or get left in the mounds of salt. Your mental health isn't worth compromising because a developer chooses to be lazy and casual.

2 RepliesFun fact: 11 years ago in Halo Reach, the Grenade Launcher that functioned not very far from this was dubbed the "Pro Pipe" for being probably one of the most skill based grenade launchers at the time, a stark contrast to people noob tubing your face in call of duty.
