assume everyone is hacking
at this point we have seen top tier streamers get banned for cheating so do your diligence and report report report maybe we can get rid of these scum babies

1 ReplyThats pc. 99% of all cheaters in gaming are on pc and the “legit” pc players will sometimes migrate to console with their m&k which in itself is cheating when there is no input based mm. Bungie should just discontinue pc support so they can stop wasting time building the anti-cheat.

As much as I empathize, and really I do. The solution isn't just report everyone who's better than you. Reporting everyone that lands a good shot is only going to make seeing the reports of actual cheaters take longer. 50 reports an hours vs 5000 reports an hour just means people who really are cheating are going to be in the game a lot longer than they would be otherwise.

Yeah - steam lists are rife with cheaters. Ironically it's got way worse since Bungie announced they were setting their lawyers on the cheat makers. Pretty much every pvp activity has hackers of some type.

People are too quick to label other players as “cheaters” whenever they lose a 1v1 engagement in PvP.

I hope this is ignored like it should be, because I know people don’t like content creators, and I get that, but you would assume that they are all using cheats, just for views? That if exposed they would ruin their livelihood just to be better at a game? How selfish and pathetic is it to think like this?

At this point I have to report at least one player in every lobby for "bad connection/severe". Bungie does not care, will never implement a real CBMM, and will never introduce dedicated servers.

even if you report 10k players and under those are maybe 100 cheaters... do you belive Bungie will do something about those 100 cheaters... maybe... but we saw it many times that some cheaters still cheat to this Day and didn't got banned... Mass Reporting will result in nothing... only in bungie getting flooded by False reports
