PS4 Controller recognized in game as XBox
i closed the game and restarted Steam due to it’s regular not working moments, right after that my PS4 controller stopped being recognized as PS4, game gives me XBox layout! However steam does recognize the control as PS4 in other games, any help?

I'm also getting the same issue since maintenance. Steam still recognises my controller as a PS4 Dualshock, but the game recognises it as an X-Box controller. Also, my touchpad doesn't allow me to access the DIrector and the right stick control is inconsistent. Hopefully this gets fixed soon, as game is currently unplayable.

I am also facing the same issue here. I am pretty sure bungie did something wrong as when I try to select controller config with the official one, steam actually pop up something said that i am attempting to load a configuration designed for another control type. Steam actually read my contorller correctly as PS4. Please fix this.

Yes!! I use a PS5 controller via DS4Windows mapped as a PS4 controller (so I can see the Playstation UI, if I use steam’s native config for the Dualsense, it shows Xbox buttons for some reason) and yesterday after reset it became completely unusable until I set DS4Windows to map it as an Xbox controller. It seems that the last reset completely deleted the Playstation UI and controller support for PC.

This happened to me yesterday. I used remote play on my pc/playstation to play Destiny 1. After that my pc destiny 2 game won't recognize my ps4 buttons and touchpad like it did before. I've tried messing around with all the settings, etc but no help

1 ReplySame issue for me. There was a Steam update just before I started the game, that could be related. Controller is recognized properly (Steam popup says it's my regular PS4 controller), but Destiny detects it as an XBox controller. Bumping for visibility.
