Top tree arcstrider has a lot of great synergy with the Raiden Flux exotic. The double damage after dodging and the increased duration makes it the best roaming super in the entire game.
With the (underrated) Raiden Flux the super does so much damage it melts barrier champions. The melee stunlocks bosses and (barrier) champions, so they cant stomp you (or pull up their shield), while your team can shoot them easily.
If you pair the melee with a 1-2 punch shotgun, you can also do insane burst damage that makes the lament look like a rusty razor.
Double dynamo and distribution gives you ~1/10 of your super back each dodge. Dodging returns your melee, melees return your dodge, so basically there is an infinite cycle of regenning all your abilities.
Energy converter x 5, elemental charge and elemental light lets you create wells with your super. The more wells you pick up the more super energy you get back up to 45%, after you throw your grenade once your super is out. The wells also recharge your grenade, so yet another infinite loop. Pairing this with the dynamo and distribution mods, you can get your OP super back in around 10-40 seconds, depending on the amount of enemies nearby (the more the merrier).
I tested this build on master and Grandmaster level nightfalls and its freaking insane. Every encounter you can get your super back around three times at least. Imo, one of the most synergetic builds in the game.
Protip: only use the heavy palm blast on champions, not adds, it will save you a lot of unwanted super drain.
One of the best things as well. Its not dependant on any artifact mod, so you can run this build every season to come.
Thoughts? Or do you maybe have a build you want to share?

4 RepliesEdited by bevross: 7/13/2021 9:01:00 AMInteresting build, though it makes my head spin with all the needed mods plus the idea of getting up close to champions?! I’ve been building around bottom tree Arcstrider with Shinobu’s Vow for double skip grenades and Surge Detonators to make overload champs kinda trivial. And what do you mean “energy converter x 5”? You put 5 of those on, no room for any other mods?

One thing I absolutely LOVE about D2 is how people come up with these crazy builds. I never would've considered using arc strider in endgame content, but now you make me wanna give it a shot.

1 ReplyThis was eye opening. Thanks for sharing the build! Might steal it for my Hunter!

Raiden is still the best exotic next to shinobus for arc hunters. Such a long super

Monte Carlo + blade barrage = infinite knives

1 ReplyLiars Handshake melee build is better than everything else Arcstrider has to offer. And its definitely NOT the best roaming super in the game.

2 RepliesEdited by InsipidPanda: 7/13/2021 6:53:33 AMJust Liars Handshake and do more damage than your super permanently. As well as health bar reset with every second punch. One shot most, if not all mini-bosses.

5 RepliesTry 2x hands on. Between 5 and 10% super energy per melee kill. Also...the dodge for chain damage does the stunlocking...not raiden flux. Also...assasin's cowl is the best thing for top tree arc...then liars...raiden is a close 3rd though. Because 3x combination blow also stunlocks enemies up to primeval level ...so no need for super...

1 ReplyEdited by BITCOINxMILLIONAIRE: 7/13/2021 2:44:35 PMPut on assassins cowl and a 1-2 punch shotgun and you won't need a super. Every melee kill gives health and invisibility get to your next target. To run harder content, you'd definitely need a kinetic grenade launcher with blinding nades. Liars handshake gives more damage but you'll probably have a harder time closing the gap

It’s one of the strongest exotic armor pieces in the game.

Raiden Flux is one of my favorite exotics to run even for PVP.

5 RepliesRaiden flux is actually much more powerful with middle tree.

That actually sounds dope. Might try it.
