Solstice Armor (Magnificent) reset back to 1100
I started playing Destiny 2 about 3 weeks ago and was happy to finally reach 1300 and hopefully get into raids and endgame content (or so i thought) upgrading my set to magnificent reset my armor to 1100 base level. I have no back up gear and all those hours spent just gone and halted my progression... This is literally discouraging for new players like me, i hope it gets addressed soon i really hope my journey doesn't end here.

Same thing here, lost my 1316 solstice armor and didn’t have a backup. Gamer tag is Galdramaour on Xbox One, hopefully this can still be fixed because otherwise I am done until august. This really sucks.

Ive just been looking at my screen for 15 minutes asking myself if that really just happened. If the 30+ hours I just put in to learn a new game and complete grindy tasks for some eventual glowy af armor that I can transmog really just got flushed with a quick meditation..yup, it sure did. All my 1260+ majestic solstice armor is now back at 1100. HOW COOL IS THAT?! Also, what is an actual ETA on this being fixed? Without a fix, I am out.

I didn't know I would lose all of my progress I put into it, I don't have many resources so this is a real kick in the teeth, I also can't select the armour perks/abilities I had prior to the upgrade, is there a way to get those back?

1 ReplyThis also has happened to me, I had spare armour (including exotic armour) in my inventory and it still reset me to 1100 and got rid of items in my inventory. This has ruined everything for me at this point, if this doesnt get fixed and replaced then its a case of never playing again.

1 ReplyThis exact same thing happened to me. I literally spent the entire day grinding because it was my only day off from work only to have my overall power level reduced to 1179 as soon as I upgraded my armor to the magnificent level. I don't have any backup armor and I was really looking forward to playing Vault of Glass for the first time next weekend. There is no way I am going to grind all the way up to 1300+ again. If this doesn't get fixed I swear it'll be the last time I play destiny.

The same thing has happened to me, I was power level 1313 and the meditated at the statue and all of the armor dropped for me at 1159 power level, I do have other armor in my inventory and I did infuse the last armor set to get it to 1313.

This is still happening, i went from 1316 down to 1154 armor. i had been infusing the armor to keep using it but never masterworked or anything along those lines.

Same thing happened to me. I deconstructed my titan mark to see if I could re-purchase it but I could even do that. Now my gear all dropped to 1100instead of it being 1310
