cannot get orbs in free roam

I am playing my titan character but cannot get orbs in free roam even though I pick up orbs on initial blue armour set. It just stopped at 9 orbs picked up. Am I doing something wrong?

If you have your super charged, you'll stop picking up orbs. Using your super will allow you to pick up orbs again.
