So Where is This Shotgun Range Nerf?
It sure is not in the Crucible .LOL I have seen more people with shotguns today than in a long time. I don't see any range fall off from before at all. So same old same old. Cool :)

Said this before, range was not the issue. It’s the fact you have mods that gives you more per special brick that allows players to treat the special as their primary. I’m guilty of doing this with Bastion. When you have a CQC weapon like a shotgun and can get reliable 1-2 hit kills on maps designed for it, why change? IMHO, the scavenger mods and special ammo economy needed to be hit ONLY IN PVP. Then again, make the primary game better (2-3 years total of HC meta in this game Bungie, that gets old).
